So lately there's been a lot of crazy press about my weight and just so you guys know I'm happier and healthier than ever so there is no need to worry about me. Things are really well in Mischa world and I've just been watching what I eat.I still love my pilates and yoga, and have cut back on fatty foods a bit. My time in India and Paris really just helped me lose a little bit of weight but there's nothing drastic going on!
I appreciate the concern, I just wish the press wouldn't harbor on it as I think it's very unhealthy for young girls to read about and pay attention to. To my female fans: Just be happy and secure with yourself and don't let other people's perceptions of you dictate the way you live your life.

I don't know much about this lady, but I have to agree with her! If a woman puts on a few pounds (ie: Jessica Simpson or Mischa), she's a big fat fatty, but if she loses weight, by whatever means, she HAS to be doing coke or she's anorexic! Let's stop focusing on women's weight SO much, so we don't have all these skeletal figures running around with unhealthy eating (or not eating) habits. I, myself, figured out that it IS about being happy with yourself and in order to do that, I had to lose a little weight, but I am happy now and NOT a stick figure! I have actual curves, not bones sticking out. To me, that's not attractive! I'd rather she a woman with hips than one with no shape at all!

Well Perez -along with other celebrity blogs & tabloids- are partly responsible for making Mischa Barton, together with young girls feeling insecure about their appearance by constantly commenting on their weight. You used to make fun of her for being "fat" when she was a bit chubby, now you talk on how she lost weight recently….. and yet use an old unflattering picture that was taken months ago.
I'm not a fan of the girl but please Perez, take responsibility for what you say and realize that as the writer of a blog that is read by millions of girls every day, you need to measure what you say about women weight…. especially since you once felt self-conscious about your own appearance, show some RESPECT.

I am healthy - I eat healthy, I exercise and I take vitamins. I have a pretty smokin' bod as a matter of fact and I'm told constantly (even by strangers) that I'm pretty, so yeah, I'm confident AND happy. Read my post again, I think you missed something. You say that by my logic, protruding bones should be OK, but that's not what I said at all! I was simply stating that posts like this are why girls stop eating and they lose all that natural healthy fat that they need. If someone is naturally thin and they have protruding bones, but they eat, that's fine. I was simply noting that the media breeds anorexia.

Is that a recent pic you posted? If so, she's still doughy with battle ship thighs. I wasn't aware that she lost any weight. Sure she looks super thin in her latest photo shoot (in whatever magazine it was that I saw). But EVERYONE is photo shopped these days. So if that is where the "thin" comments are coming from, they're unwarranted.
