She may have a 22 year old boyfriend, but Madonna has already had to deal with menopause?
According to comedienne Rosie O'Donnell, she turned to Madge when her 'hormone things' started kicking in.
Rosie was a guest on the Tyra Banks show when she made the menopause revelation.
"She's [Madonna] great, she's a lot like a big sister. When I started having my hormone things, I'm like, 'What the hell is going on?' she's like, 'Get the cream,'" said RoRo to TyTy.
We're sure that Madge is not happy that she was tied to this old lady stuff on national TV.
And, what cream is it that Ro and Madge use to get through menopause?
We didn't know they made a menopause cream!
Tyra's sit-down with Rosie will air this coming Thursday and Friday.

She probably means progesterone cream. Progesterone is a naturally occuring hormone that drops dramatically during menopause. Many doctors will recommend this cream to help relieve the normal menopause symptoms in lieu of hormone therapy.

It's not a face cream and it's not a cream you put on your vag. The cream is either progesterone, estrogen or both. Because these creams are hormones, they are best absorbed through the skin. It's basically a form of hormone replacement, since both progesterone and estrogen production drops dramatically during both peri-menopause and menopause. Face cream? Really? Come on people.

The cream is an estrogen-progesterone cream that is rubbed into different part of body, like tummy, or thighs, or arms daily, because the levels of these 2 hormones start dropping with menopause.

Actually, the menopause cream was probably vaginal cream. Premarin and Estrace both come in creams. Sounds gross, but it's widely prescribed.

What the 'cream' is, is a topical 'Estrogen' cream, which you put on your 'va-jay-jay'……..
The estrogen is absorbed thru the skin down in a woman's 'nether region'. In turn, what it does is, helps with 'va-jay-jay' dryness and thinning…..two extremely common side effects of menopause.
If used regularly, it will also help increase systemic estrogen levels and will lead to an overall decrease in menopausal symptoms period.
