Chris Brown Attends Anger Management - Fails At Damage Control!

In a last minute attempt to salvage whatever crumbs are left of his career, Chris Brown has decided to take a handful of anger management classes, according to The NY Daily News>
The alleged woman beater has no legal obligations to take the class - yet - rather "he believes it will make him look better to the public."
Hmm.
Shouldn't Brown be taking the classes because he actually wants to learn something from them and not solely as a publicity stunt?
Just a thought!
Chris is also bitching left and right about how Princess RiRi should be attending the classes as well!!!
"Rihanna is temperamental, too. They're both too-hot headed for their own good," blabbed one of Chris' friends.
Another snitch added fuel to the fire, "It didn't help that Rihanna grabbed the keys out of his rented Lamborghini and threw them down the street. She knew it would really infuriate Chris, and it worked."
Why are Chris' friends placing part of the blame on Rihanna????
We're sure the tragic incident would have happened eventually, whether RiRi grabbed his keys or not!
Abusers don't learn to use violence overnight!

I don't know if there is any saving Chris Brown…
Rihanna is probably just as abusive -verbally & physically- as Brown. Chris just got caught. I don't think women deserve better treatment… Abuse is abuse… Who knows what happened that night… at this point…. Who cares?
Get out or stay… move on… Geeeez.
It takes Rihanna getting hit for America to take notice of abuse?
Glad to see how things work (rolls eyes)
Elle
yeah bitch
I don't care if she punched him in the balls…you don't hit a woman!
Perez, Chris aint no sitn. We all know that. But you're beloved RiRi sounds like quite the little bitch herself. At least TRY some objectivity!
oh perezita calm down and get your thong out of your culo! he's not placing blame, the blabber mouths are just blowing hot air!
He's a victim to his own doing. So stop blaming her. If he doesn't want to be a victim of his past anymore, he needs to learn to accept personal responsibility for his actions, regardless of his past.
Re: l0ve_catastr0phe –
Fuck that. If she was hitting him too she's just as responsible The double standard is complete bullshit.
What a douche bag.
Oh My Godd Ppl Give Chris A Break!! ii Still Love Him Nd Always Will =)
fuck him, didnt his father ever teach him not to hit a girl????
What a douche bag!
The old abuser trick of blaming the victim. Good job making yourself look like an asshat once again Chris!
At this point I think we all need to step into "forgiveness" mode, yes what he did was wrong and disgusting but at the same time we are all humans and make mistakes. I am sure we all have done something in our lives that we regret and maybe some of us have done something WORSE than Chris did but because he is a celebrity he is being hung out to dry. I just hope that he issues an apology himself and not through a publicist or something because that will show his sincerity. I do feel he can bounce back from this, he is extremely young and talented so he has plenty of time to bounce back, I just really hope he learned his lesson and learned that putting your hands on a woman is absolutely the worst thing a man could do. I dont support the actions he committed but I do support Chris the artist, let this be a lesson to him.
So his friends are basically saying what he did was ok?! Even if she did throw his keys that DOESNT give him the right to hit her. NOTHING does!!! He is an ass!
Re: crimzoid – ii Totally Agree. . ! Rihanna Seems Like A Bitch Herself And Im Sure She DID Abuse Chris Too. . ! People Give Him A Break Seriously!!!!!!!
Bless his heart! What a total asshole Chris Brown has turned out to be. You do know, Perez, it is typical and totally consistent with the profile of an abuser that they NEVER take responsibility. It is always the victim who "caused it." Those "pals" of his who are talking about Rihanna? I hope they have a chance to be on the recieving end of an ass-whipping. Not just one either. But often. This is a wake-up call for Rihanna. She could have been killed. She needs to follow Mary Wilson, the former Supreme's advice. Walk Away.
No way, Chris! I don't buy it……
next
god, why don't his friends just shut up?? They're not helping his case at all. Just making Brown look more and more like a douche. There's no saving his ass. He allegedly beats women and allegedly threatens to kill them. If the public doesn't destroy him, I'm sure RiRi's friends and supporters will.
Scumbag.
Well….I will say I've pressed my luck a few times and given a verbal smack down to a man and was a bit surprised I didn't get backhanded and I'm a firm believer that if you hit expect to get hit, but you shouldn't hit a woman, walk away and good luck with that!!
So his friends as basically saying what he did was ok?! Even if she did throw his keys it doesnt give him the right to hit her! It's NEVER ok to do that, he is an ass and fucked up on his own. I havent heard his music on any stations since this. He fucked up and needs to deal with it. Anger management wont do shit for him if he doesnt really want to be there.
I think it is disgusting what he did . . . . . . and I would sure like to do something disgusting with him (wink wink). He can love me long time!
chris brown is a loser ,and can kiss his career bye bye
Re: ellebunny – The more Perez posts about it, the more I am inclined to think that she abused him too. He shouldn't have hit back, but he should have stayed and gotten her ass arrested too. She's not an angel, she's known for having anger issues too.
.
Oh shut up about it all already, Perez! Everyone is tired of it.
Re: ellebunny – i actually agree with you… Women are notorious for putting their hands on men thinking someone won't knock them out…. Whether this is the case or not, there is no excuse for what Chris did and also if Rihanna put her hands on him either. Neither one of them is exempt….
I am willing to bet that Ms. RiRi is not innocent in all of this. I imagine that the two of them have had some major MUTUAL beatdowns on each other.
And if you are woman enough to hit a man, you need to be woman enough to accept being hit back.
who gives a flying fuck anymore.. i'm sick of the he said/she said.. they're BOTH ASSHOLES. he shouldn't hit her, she shouldn't him him. can we move on now?
Re: crimzoid – Exactly.
Re: BooBooBear – Yup…
It sounds like Chris Brown hasn't hired a spinmeister yet. And it shows.
He is surrounded by dummies.
He should look into a plea deal and and pay civil damages ASAP.
Common theme with abusers: It's always someone else's fault they acted that way. As long as it is not their fault, they see no need to change.
The only defense for striking someone (man or woman) is in self defense. Other than that, it doesn't matter how "hot-headed" she is. If she provoked him, he should have walked away from her… and stay away from her… instead of busting her in the face and biting her.
Even if RiRi took the keys and threw them, that does not give Chris the right to hit her. If she pissed him off enough, he should have walked away and cooled off.
So, tell me again why Rhianna didn't leave him the first time he beat her…? No offense to any battered people here, of course, but that's just stupid. Why don't people ever ask THAT question? She would have escaped a lot of BS, including this last beating, if she had just gotten rid of him right away. I will never understand people.
this is RIDICULOUS!! You beat up on a girl….. the details of the story don't matter AT ALL… only that one fact!! You are a woman beater… end of story… no excuses…. get help.
Re: Neverevenknewhim – I agree but women shouldn't think it's allowed and acceptable to hit a man and think he is not in his right to hit back… I confess I have done the same with my man and yea I thank my lucky stars I didn't get wooped for it. But that doesn't mean I didn't deserve it b/c I was the one who put my hands on him so therefore had he had hit me I would have gotten exactly what I was asking for…
Re: l0ve_catastr0phe – SO YOUR FOR VIOLENCE AGAINST MEN….
what a douche
Re: jillyme – So tell me this, had she had put her hands on him and struck him, do u think that was acceptable? Why do women always insist on putting their hands on someone and thinking that b/c you are a woman you shouldn't be hit… Sorry but I disagree and I'm a woman…
he needs to go to a perpatrator progran anger management doesnt work for abusive me. flying into a range is not how domestic abuse normally plays out. its selective and manipulative.
Anger management groups usually teach short-term techniques to help individuals modify their reactions to chronic feelings of anger, whereas domestic violence perpetrator programmes are targeted at those who have a problem with violence towards their partner. While many abusive men describe themselves as having a problem controlling their anger, in cases of domestic violence anger is not the issue.
Domestic violence perpetrators are extremely selective about who they behave violently towards and the level of severity of that violence. They might feel angry at their boss, their father, their partner - but only choose to use violence against their partner. Rather than being out of control, their behaviour is about controlling.
Not all of men's violence is about anger. Abusive men learn to label all powerful emotional states as anger, when in fact they also experience more vulnerable feelings of fear, hurt, powerlessness and betrayal.
So for example if she has come home late he might feel a mixture of feelings - worry, upset, jealousy - as well as anger. Perpetrator programmes explore the underlying emotions and thoughts at the time of an assault rather than address control of the mislabelled anger.
IF YOU WERE WOMEN ENOUGHT TO PUT YOUR HANDS ON SOMEONE THEN YOU SHOULD BE WOMEN ENOUGH TO DEAL WITH THE OUTCOME… SORRY BUT WOMEN NEED TO STOP ACTING AS IF WHEN THEY HIT SOMEONE, IT'S ACCEPTABLE B/C THAT SHIT IS NOT ACCEPTABLE… NOTE TO MEN AND WOMEN, LEAVE YOUR FUCKING HANDS TO YOURSELF…
From what I've heard, your princess is also an abuser who has a mighty temper. Perhaps she should be attending anger management classes too.
it takes TWO. obviously if he was a crazy guy people would of SEEN that already, hes a sweetheart, and everyone has a temper..some a little more then others, and it def had to take two people so people need to stop getting so mad at chris brown no one knows the FULL story. and whatever, but all i got to say is team chris
Re: rhi rhi – Well if that is the case, then rihanna better sign up for that class as well. She was known for putting her hands on chris as well..
this makes me so mad. Why are him and his posse so dumb. sooooooooo dumb. i hope that cumguzzling dirtbag goes to jail for a longgggg time like anyother insane human being would..this world is SO messed up these days.
Love all these 15 year olds saying IT WAS RHIANNA'S FAULT TOO!
What you dumbasses don't get is, he didn't just hit her. He didn't just smack her. HE FUCKING BEATTTTTTT HER.
i do not believe all these statements from his "friends", i think its just people who want to add fuel to the fire. and Rihanna could be partially to blame. we do not know what really happened that night. if pushed enough almost everybody is capable of doing harm to another person. and to say that this would have happened anyways despite whatever she did is total BS. there is no way of knowing that.
Re: Than Thou –
its not as simple as 'end of the relationship' theres still love there. also perps of violence are very manipulative and will do anything to win someone back. victims will accept their promises to change
WOW you can't justify what he did
she threw his car keys
is that a reason to beat her horribly?
NO
I don't care what she did, she definetly did not deserve what happened to her
even if I was one of chris browns friends I couldn't defend something as horrible as this.
Re: kissme1lstime – yup
She should be taking the classes as well, it is part her fault. This wasn't some random act of violence, and your real ignorant to say this would have happened eventually. You don't know that man, all you know is how to talk nonfactual bullshit.
and women aren't always the victims
yes, it's mostly men but women sometimes hit the man in the relationship as well
so women can be just as guilty as men.
and I also highly doubt rihanna touched him
it's possible but I doubt it
anyways IT'S HIT FAULT AND HIS ACTIONS THAT CAUSED THIS NOT RIHANNAS!
Boy, nothing like perpetuating the helpless female stereotype. Poor little lady getting beaten on by a man. She didn't leave him - she just kept staying and kept getting beat up. ….Am I seriously the only person who sees how stupid and weak that is? If someone hits you, you dump them. End of story. And now we return to your regularly scheduled Delicate Female myth…
Re: Rieco – Exactly
Re: LaDiva is the only true Diva on PH – #41. word!
What I don't get is this…he has hit her before, so what is she doing fighting with him and throwing his keys out of the car? LEAVE HIM, you don't egg on somebody who has already beaten you up several times and who outweighs you by 50lbs, you get the hell away! He needs to get punished and she needs to get some therapy to figure out why she didn't get the hell out the first time he hit her.
The fact that these idiots think that domestic violence has anything to do with "temper" or that the person who got hit is culpable for the abusers behavior just shows their ignorance. You can go to the website for the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence and read that DV has nothing to do with ANGER or TEMPER. It has only to do with CONTROL.
Re: Rieco – #53.. his fault he got a text message? i'm confused…
It's a 2 way street homo. Women push buttons; should he have hit her no. But push somebodies buttons too far and shit happens, even if its wrong.
Re: l0ve_catastr0phe – you said "I don't care if she punched him in the balls…you don't hit a woman!"
__________________________________________________-
Um…actually if she punched him in the balls then she would be the one on trial. If you throw the first punch then YOU are the batterer, and if a woman is punching somebody in the balls legally they are allowed to do anything they can to get her off them. Frankly anybody that would punch somebody in the balls needs to get punched back.
Goodbye CB… hope you get raped in jail.
I have a question for you Were you there? I am not saying its right what he did, but who is to say she provoked him. I am sure if he had provoked her she would have slap him and would that be right that she hit him but its wrong when he defending himself. If you weren't there you shouldn't be commenting on it. Thats just my opinion
Come on dawgs, I be a black male we been beetin our ho's foe yeas, get off my back, it our culture along with 60% PLUS of ALL hiv/aids in America didn't we's invents peanut butta? hows it gets any bettta than dat? excuse me now i gots a cigar i wants to redo into the national black males smooke of choice? P.s. PLEAZ don'ts go lookin at da CDC or FBI records concerning us, it bee's racist lies?
He can take all of the anger management classes he wants, the fact of the matter is, he brutally hit Rihanna and it's not going to be forgotten easily, if at all by his once fans. I think he can put his hopes aside that his career will continue or even get back to where it once was.
IM sooo over them
FEMALES WHO DATE blacks, Love Abuse, how can anyone make it any clearer than that? Over 70% of their spawn is hatched to a single (welfare collecting) momma ain't it?? It's their culture, leave them alone?
If she was hitting him (which I'm sure she was); then he should've been a man, walked away and had her arrested. Plain & simple. But no….he's a loose cannon and has to act "thug" so he unleashes on her and beats her to a pulp. It's funny how he isn't bruised and cut up (take a look at pictures), yet she is. Whoever defends him needs a good beat down too. That way you'll know how it feels. Good riddance to a career that never should've been successful in the first place.
Honestly you can't be sriously saying that because she tool the key's out of the car and threw them on the street she deserved it. EVEN if she has a temper problem that doesn't excuse the fact that he HIT HER. HE HIT HER she didn't HIT HIM…..People are fucked!!! An action does not deserve a reaction and his reaction was unacceptable and I hope he NEVER come back. He deserves everything thats coming to him….If he lost his career and I'm sure he did well GOOD FOR YOU, YOU RETARD!!!
He should have been BIG ENOUGH TO WALK AWAY…..NOPE HE HAD TO HIT HER!!! WHAT A MAN HE IS!!!
TAKES A MAN TO WALK AWAY!!!
I don't defend Chris Brown's actions but I don't think there are enough people supporting him getting help. Everybody (Perez!) seems to be all for him getting a good ass kicking but when he actually tries to help himself by taking anger management classes it's written off as him just doing it half assed to make himself look better. We need to support any kind of abusers (drug, physical, etc) getting HELP for their actions instead of just rooting for an ass kicking or a lock up. You can't condemn someone for doing something wrong and then condemn them again for trying to change.
Re: Mentalist – ahh shut the fuck up bitchface…
Some women push and push men to see how far they can go. They are the same women that go from one abusive relationship to the next. It works both ways. Men don't deserve all the blame.
did u people see what he did to her? whether she threw his keys, punched him in the dick, whatever.. i don't care what her temper is like, there's absolutely no excuse for the beating he gave her.
I didn't know there were so many retarded women on here. They 'love' Chris Brown so much they have to defend him for BEATING a woman up, and blame the victim! Can't wait to hear about these idiots on the news when their bf's beat them to death because they're stupid enough to stay with them.
yes chris brown was a twat for hitting rihanna and yes he should be punished. but you're commentary on the situation is appalling…why do you keep referring to 'princess riri' as though she's some sort of beloved saint. have you ever even met rihanna? i can readily believe that she is just as temperamental as he is, and in the name of objectivity perhaps you COULD concede that throwing the keys of a rented lamborghini out the window is going to piss someone off?
if rihanna has already been physically abused by chris brown before then a) why would she do that in the first place b) why is she still with him
RANT OVER
TEAM PEREZ/ RiRi on that one!!
Re: Supergirl – Interesting you should have said he should have walked away but if she was known for putting her hands on him, then she should have walked away as well knowing that things can escalate… It goes both ways…
Re: mommysloveperez – As we were not there to say whether she put her hands on him or not, we will not know the truth. Too much he said she said. But this much is true, nobody deserves to get hit - and that includes women. Women are under some sort of misconception that it's allowed to hit and not get hit back. Uh uh that is still wrong…
Laying your hands on someone else is never acceptable whether it be a man or a woman. That is a given. With this case between Rhianna and Chris, no one knows what really happened except for the people that were there. Chris is innocent until proven guilty in the Courts. Let it be and let them handle this on their own accord.
Re: mommysloveperez – And it takes a real women to not hit a man. Believe me I have hit a man before, and it was inexcusable. Women need to stop acting as if they are the only ones who can hit but can't be hit back. Don't hit someone period….
Re: ellebunny –
Elle, I totally agree with what you're saying. Abuse goes both ways. No man should hit a woman and no woman should hit a man. If you don't want to be abused then don't initiate it. I'm not saying that she's to blame for this but she did something to provoke him so bad to the point that he did this to her. No one knows what really happened but them two. What happened to Rihanna was unfortunate and definitely shouldn't have happened, I hope that the anger management classes do more than just make him look good but I don't think that its solely Chris's fault. It takes 2. Maybe she was beating on him to the point he had to defend himself to make her stop, who knows? At the end of the day, it shouldn't have happened and they are both guilty. They both should be taking anger management or some other mental help classes. Pop a few Zoloft pills or something…
Most probably BOTH of them are abusive! Just the impression I get….
and: How STUPID of her or him if they ever go BACK into their violent relationship!!!! Just dumb! As most celbes are.
Re: cs1234 – Neither is there any excuse for her to put her hands on him.. What the fuck is up with this double standard shit…
whether Rihanna started this or not, the pictures show a very ciolent and sick person. Chris Brown could have just left before putting his hands on her, he seemed to have no problem leaving after he caused that horrific damage to her face! His friends are fucking morons, which is not unusual. Those types of people stick together.
Re: crimzoid – Well, if she was such a bitch, why didn't he just break up with her? You know…if he did not like that he could have broken it off!!! You don't hit a woman!!! I guess if you get mad at your significant other and a fight ensues, it is okay to get beat up???? I don't think so. Men are supposed to be men. And if she is so abusive towards him, where is his pic with defensive wounds or bruises from her causing damage to him?
Re: Jays – exactly
He has a black belt for crying out loud! Part of learning Martial Arts involves self control and clarity of vision. He obviously lost his self control and the only vision he cared a/b was kicking her ass. I don't care what she did, he has enough female fam and fans that would have kcked her ass for him. If he's smart he'll just keep it moving, apologizelike Mel Gibson and move on!
His career will bounce back if he does the right thing and fall on his own sword.
In my opinion both were to blame for this situation. For all the people who say you should never hit a woman. You are wrong cos this statement justifies that a woman can hit a man and its the mans duty to walk away. No one in a relationship should revert to violence, but in my opinion seems like perez has his ass so up riris butt that he can't see any negative attributes in her. I'm not condoning what CB did but we still don't have all the facts and who's to say riri was not verbually and emotionally abusing CB for months and he lost it. Again not condoning what he did, a better man would have walked away, but a real woman would not have to stoop to such low actions to get her way. So while CB may be a douche, just cos riri got beat does not mean she ain't a manipulative bitch. But hey do we actually care, or are riri's record company grinning from ear to ear thinking her next record will be huge. As for CB he may be a douche but to be honest his music is good, and i listen to his songs more than riris. But if you want real music listen to the hinoi team!!
His friends are rite she should be going to anger managment with him. Yeah he should have NEVER EVER put his hand on her but it takes alot for someone to do that to somebody.shes not little miss innocent.
Re: crimzoid – Okay, then so where are the pics of him looking like this, then?????? For it to be equal, if that is what you want, we saw the pics of her, now where are his wounds?????????????????? Point is, he messed up, girls get mad when there is another woman involved, she threw his keys and he beat the hell out of her…what a puss!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! that's what is wrong with this country: no men, being men and taking responsibilty for their actions.
It takes two to tango! although what he did was disgusting.. people shouldn't have to resort to violence!
Re: ellebunny – WORD TO THAT!
Re: LaDiva is the only true Diva on PH – Yep, it does go both ways. Now imagine if she was hitting him, he walked away (like he did AFTER he beat her to a pulp) and called the cops. He'd still have his career, dignity and fans. Instead he decided to beat up someone who is probably 50 pounds smaller than he is. Wow, what a man. A hero. A truly honorable human being. He's no different than someone who beats animals and kids. Stop making excuses for sh*t like him.
Re: CoDy A – What??? It is called assault, and anyone would be charged with this crime. You don't go beating the hell out of a woman and get to keep your clean image that you like to portray to the public. If he gets jail time, he is just like us. The reason he has been hung out to dry is because he had this clean image, then he almost kills a lady and then goes to Vegas for a week…please!!!
Re: ellebunny – Yea i agree with you.
Let's see. On one side, we have throwing of keys. On the other side, we have beating to head bruising (risking concussion), punching in mouth (risking tooth damage) and allegedly choking to unconsciousness (that risks death, people). Somehow the reaction seems a bit out of proportion, hey?
Re: MsCrystal –
Post 82
"Maybe she was beating on him to the point he had to defend himself to make her stop, who knows? "
—————————————————————————————–
If she was acting stupid then pull over and leave her crazy ass on the curb. She snatched is keys from his rental? Call the police or walk away! She slapped him/ bit him/ scratched him? Call the police or walk away! She hurt his feelings? get Another female to kick her ass! He's a black belt! Yeah, none of us were there but I'm pretty sure most of us would have walked away or kicked her out the car if she threw the first blow. to BEAT her yes BEAT her is ridiculous. To beat ANY female esp. when your hands are considered lethal weapons is ridiculous. With great power comes great responsability.
I can't believe the people blaming her for any part of that beating!! WTF—CB—let's see your face!!–I'm sure its not covered in bruises you little Bitch!!!!!!!
Re: pennychooth – damn you have no idea how much i agree with you comment…
Re: Supergirl – And stop making excuses for her as well. She was known for putting her hands on him as well as her brother. Don't justify her actions either b/c she was in the wrong as well.
