This might seem like a backhanded compliment but Britney needs that support around her right now in her life. I hope one day she will be more independent but I really am so proud that she is off whatever drugs she was on…(and it was obvious sorry all hardcore Brit Brit fans) and that she turned her life around. I just hope she never goes back to her old ways like in 2007. It would be truly tragic.

That would be like saying Justin Timberlake is the King of Pop. Just doesn't make sense…QUEEN kind of brings up a sense of power. Of course Britney didn't outdo Madonna on her tour–she HASN'T toured yet. Although I'm sure she won't outsell Madonna on this tour, but then again, she isn't charging a gazillion dollars just to see her either. And CIRCUS is still enjoying chart success, and is doing better than HARD CANDY did. It's not as crappy as HC either.

If you take Madonna's single history you would notice, she hasn't really shined with originality: Latest universally successful nr. 1 singles: *4 Minutes (WITH Justin and BY Timbaland) *Hung Up (ABBA Sample) *Me Against the Music (WITH BRITNEY) *American Life (well a really shit song) *Die Another Day (Titles as the worst Bond song ever) *Music (just bad) & *American Pie (A cover of a legendary song)
She was great in the 90s, but not that much anymore.

Real music fans wouldn't put useless royalty titles on their favorite artists. They'd be perfectly fine with having a Madonna CD in their collection, just as they would one by Mariah, Britney, Sarah McLachlan, Tori Amos, Bjork, Mary J. Blige, Stevie Nicks, etc. They wouldn't think, "well I can't listen to this female singer, because I already have a favorite female singer."
