Coach is not fancy… It's on the same scale of Dooney & Bourke… way below luxury goods.

Luxury = gucci, fendi, versace, hermes, dior, dolce&gabbana…

I wouldn't say Coach is "fancy"… but they are the "obtainable luxury" of the common folk (like me). I got a $400 Coach purse for $97 the other week, that's hardly a fancy price tag.

Almost all their products are made in China…go ahead and ask the salespeople and watch them stammer to explain why a $700 purse is made in China. Save yourselves the $390 dollars and pick up something bougie at Target at least they give money back to charity.

Here's the thing. Coach bags are affordable for leather. People that are rocking the Louis Vuitton canvas are rocking CANVAS coated in plastic. The quality of coach is good I think for the price. I personally am into Linea Pelle and lovcat! Also I like Botkier and Lockheart! But I do love Target. I can always find something there that I like and it stops me from spending more than I should.

Think about that luxury good invested in your retirement and how much it would be by the time you retire. That is the real price of that purse. The opportunity cost of that $2,000 handbag is your retirement. It may sound far away, but its not!

I am sorry but Coach is definitely not luxury. In the world of fashion you have Couture, bridge lines, better garments, moderate lines, and budget lines. Budget lines being purses from target or something like that… moderate being Nine West purses or Guess…. and Better Garments being Coach… just so ya know.. haha

It's not about being fancy, the whole point of the store is to have affordable handbags for people who can't afford LV and yeah they are made in china, so what. Most of the things in your house are probably made in china
