Did Zac Efron and Robert Pattinson help give the Oscars a major ratings boost?

It seems that way!

Turns out that the Oscars got a bit of a spike with ratings among teens aged 12-17, going up 25% from last year.

Even the ratings for children aged 2-11 shot up 33% this year, according to the Nielsen numbers.

You know the kiddies just can't get enough of Zac and Rob.

Actually, no one can get enough of those two!

I understand you perez. Rob is one of a kind I've never been so infatuated with a star before watching twilight. After that i started reading all the books. And now I can't stop watching anything that Rob is in. Thanx for all the pics. He is so hot damn!!!!

Fact is that I was interested in watching the show when I heard Rob might be going. Then again, I could not watch it live because I don't have the channel that showed it in France. Considering he was not in it that much, it's probably a good thing because it was in the middle of the night and awards' ceremonies usually are really boring anyway…
