Matt Dillon Still Says He's Not Guilty

As we previously mentioned, actor Matt Dillon was arrested at the end of December for speeding - going 106 mph! - in Vermont.
The actor plead Not Guilty last month. You know, cuz the car sped itself up to over 100 mph!
Yesterday, Dillon's attorney, Mark Kaplan, appeared in a Vermont court on his behalf. According to Orange County District Court officials, Dillon has been offered a plea deal.
The details of the current deal are not clear and Dillon has yet to accept it.
A court date has been scheduled for next month.
If Dillon is convicted, he could face up to a year in jail and be fined $1,000.

I drive through Vermont all the time and have never seen a statey - sucks for Matt. At least he can afford the ticket, unlike the rest of us. But be careful Matt, those mountain highways are slippery and you could really get hurt at that speed.

perez you dumb ass - in a situation like that you always plead not guilty and then they offer a plea deal (do you even know what that is retard cuz it sure don't sound like it?!). if you plead guilty you obviously don't get offered a plea deal and then your stuck with being guilty…….

His career is so not 'over,' Lol. That statement radiates ignorance. He's become a consummate character actor, and has grown in every part I've watched him in lately, and I was never one to exalt or put teen throb posters on my bedroom wall. His acting chops have become rugged just like his looks; but he needs to slow down or rent a speedway for those fast machines that beg to be driven fast, as he wouldn't like or do well coping with the thought that he hurt someone else.

His lawyers will negotiate down the speed-less of a fine, and probably probabtion instead of jail time(Vermont must have alot of fatal accidents due to speedy thru the small state)
