Paula Abdul 'took' back what appeared to be smack talking about American Idol's new judge, Kara DioGuardi.
Before taking to the stage for American Idol's 'live' show on Wednesday, Paula told Entertainment Tonight that her quote to OK! magazine was taken 'out of context'.
Uh huh!
Isn't that always the case????
Says Abdrool:
"It is unfortunate that a quote of mine was taken completely out of context today," says Paula. "I was actually referring specifically to the use of 'guest judges' in seasons past, NOT Kara [DioGuardi] or this season. I am thrilled to have her by my side each week on 'American Idol.'"

Paula was exposed last night when she was forced to go first. She had the audacity to defer and say that she had nothing to say. WALLA!

It was so obvious last night she couldn't stand Kara, she never even looked her in the eyes once, and seemed very out of it.
I don't believe a thing OK magazine writes, so it might be true. Coming out on the cover is a picture of pitt and aniston-pics facing each other with the blurb-'according to a source' (love that source) when their eyes met when Jennifer was presenting the oscar, they both realized that they were still in love with each other. …….right. so, it can be believed that OK took a quote out of context, or just totally made it up on the spot. Paula would not know the difference
And how much did the ratings increased???
Paula speaks from the heart and straight to the viewer. Her analysis is so dead on these days that even Simon is listening lately. Kara's analysis seems as knowledgeable, but from more of an executive marketing viewpoint, i.e. 'package performer', etc. Paula consisently gets free publicity for the show with her shoot from the hip and remove foot statements, but every one must know that she comes from the right place and bears no ill will to anyone. I like her honesty; she puts herself out there, and damn the torpedos. She does know her stuff. They all do.
Kara tries too hard to be like Simon, buts she comes off as mean without the smarts. She is also very inappropriate and it is all for attention, she just wants all the men to want her and all the women to be jealous of her. Sorry - it's not working, she just comes of as desperate and annoying. At least Paula provides comic relief!

It doesn't matter if she was talking about guest judges or the new fourth judge. It still equals four which means approx. the same amount of time would be used if it was a guest or Kara judging. Also, why would a comment about four judges not working for American Idol be in any way relevant to AI unless she was talking about Kara. Even if the comment was about guest judges as far as I know they don't plan on having a guest judge anytime soon on AI so a comment about guest judges was not needed and if she didn't want to backtrack on her own comment she should have been more specific.
Paula's a fucking idiot.
She said that they tried four judges in the past and it doesn't work.
How is that not a directed towards Kara?
Paula needs to shut up.. Kara knows her stuff and is a great contribution to Idol.
