      Hollywood Reporter can suck it. That movie was freakin' awesome. Not only was it incredibly faithful to the graphic novel, but even on its own it's just a great, fantastic movie.

      He obviously did only basic research for the film which is expected… Heard to a regular audience it may be a bit over their head but if you've read the GN i heard you will be extremely happy which is all that matters to the fanboys.

      i know the someone who reviews a movie should come in without any knowledge of it to give a real feel for it and not one of complete adoration or love, but this movie was really not the one to do that with. you really have to know the book to understand this movie.

You are all ignorant to his work, so enjoy being an 18 year old poser who thinks they know jack shit about writing, or even comic history for that matter.       NEVER NEVER NEVER listen to reviews. They rob artists from the real impact of their work. Go see the movies that you are interested in. We have the power to make or break the future of cinema.

      I really could give a fuck what Hollywood thinks, it's because of Hollywood that they have completely destroyed any and all of Alan Moore's amazing graphic novels when they come on the big screen. I'm going to see it and decide for myself. If it's anything like the graphic novel it will be great. if they changed it up to be "more entertaining" for all audiences I'm robably going to explode.

      It's currently at 76% on rottentomatoes, assgobbler. I'm not some SciFi douche who is greasing up my cock in anticipation of this movie, but jesus, fella, give it a chance. You no doubt still watched "Man Dong Lover 78" even though it was lukewarmly received by Dude Lovers Quarterly.

      Seems to me his issue is with the graphic novel itself, not the movie. I think this reviewer is letting his dislike for the storyline put him off on everything else.

      I'm not too surprised some pompous and failed film major would be waving his finger at a film that didn't feature a war torn foreign country or kids with AIDS. Some of us just want to watch a fun movie once in awhile so don't ruin it for the rest of us…thanks.

      I just saw the movie and thought it was awesome. Any fan of the graphic novel will appreciate this movie. It is as true to it as it can be due to time. Screw this critic. Let the fans and people see it and decide for themselves if they like it.

      I just read that "review" and wat the fuck was that?
      That wasn't a review of the movie, it was a bad review of simply the comic book.
      I thought they meant that the movie was a shitty adaptation of the comic book, which I'm current;y reading, but all it was was bitching about all of the details in the comic. so…they just aren't fans of the story. That doesn't make the movie bad in any way. It sounds like the movie is pretty much following the comic, which would make it GOOD, right???
      I'm going to see it at the midnight showings with my buddies, and I bet it'll be great. FUCK the Hollywood Reporter.

      Once again, Perez finds the ONE negative in a sea of positive reviews about something, and claims that its a dud, a bomb, or a disappointment. He does this with music he doesnt like, and with movies with actors he doesnt like. Im not sure why he's doing it to Watchmen though. Miley isnt in it.

      this is the most bullshit review I have ever read. I sounds like this person had no intention of liking this film in the first place.
      I have no stake in it. this is Poorly written and offers no insight to the arguments presented within, just a bunch of unsubstantiated complaints.
      it also presents no comparison to the source material, or what world this material came from…
      just awful, I will never read any hollywood reporter reviews ever again.

      I am purely commenting on the review NOT THE MOVIE, I will make my own review of the movie once I see it. But this crap was just worthless writing.

      it seems like the review is more about the plot than the movie. i haven't seen the film, but from what i've heard, it's very faithful to the graphic novel. i can't wait to see it!
