Ed McMahon Diagnosed With Cancer Too!

As we mentioned earlier today, Ed McMahon's health is in a very delicate state as he's been hospitalized for almost a month now with a bad case of pneumonia.
Quite serious for the soon to be 86-year-old.
And, now we've learned there's even worse news! So horrible.
ET has just confirmed that McMahon has been in the intensive care unit and was recently diagnosed with systemic bone cancer!!!
His wife Pam is said to be by his side. A source says her "deep faith is helping her through this difficult time.
Forget her, though, how's McMahon doing???
Let's hope he overcomes this makes it out of the hospital soon!
Sending good vibes your way, Ed.

You going to give him the coverage you give that racist British broad that most people don't know???
OMG this is so sad
Your compassion for the family of an ill "celebrity" is simply overwhelming, PH. You are such a fucking tool. Obviously you are PMSing, go change your tampon & take a Midol, bitch.
RIP
you are late with this posting - as per usual. And what about the beating up of one of the Slumdog kids by his own father. Every other site has it except you. Are you keeping that for Monday?
What a shitty way to end your long life. Have your crazy wife blow through your life savings and then be diagnosed with cancer
Sad!
Re: Mike_Rotch – LOL.
Re: Charmer – I agree with you. I just recently had to deal with the death of my Grandpa. Trust me, Perez, the family of someone this direly sick needs just as much attention. Especially a wife! My prayers are with him AND his family. I hope they all find the strength they need in this difficult time.
No getting over bone cancer!
So sad
Re: Rini J – Please accept my condolences for your loss. I hope you and yours find peace during this difficult time.
Let's hope the bone cancer kicks into overdrive soon so that he can join Johnny Carson in Hell!
Maybe Ed can do a version of "Star Search" from beyond the grave!
she looks great!
ppl with bone cancer never survive - once diagnosed - u dont live much longer…
That's nothing compared to what I have. I have Lupus, Pulmonary Hypertension, Heart Failure and a brain injury all in one!
Ed McMahon is 86-years old; he's battling pneumonia and bone cancer. Given his age and the severity of his medical issues, he'd be better off remaining in the hospital where he can receive round-the-clock supervision.
I hope he has medical insurance. Considering the dire financial straits he's in, there's probably NO money to pay the exorbitant fees he's incurring on a daily basis. Maybe his soon-to-be widow will have to get herself a JOB.
Oh, his wife, Pam, is the major reason Ed is such financial straits…spend, spend, spend and never think about tomorrow. Maybe she could get a job working for a credit bureau, selling mortgages to unqualified applicants. She obviously knows nothing about financial stability…
Godspeed Ed McMahon!
Cancer is a disease of old age, Perez. Not surprising but I think that type is painful. He deserved better but hey, perhaps he will overcome even this latest setback.
So the Medical report said that Ed has cancer and other problems… Does Ed have AIDS? just asking, pneumonia is sometiong people with AIDS get and is one of the complications near death. Doesn't really matter at this point. But that detail would be interesting.
:(
Where was his wife's "deep faith" when she ran up his credit cards and exacerbated his economic problems?
She probably can't wait to head back to Robertson Blvd. A little retail therapy–and more debt–can go a long way.
As for Ed, America's favorite "second banana" and sidekick, peace be with you.
Well, at least he had one of the best Super Bowl commercials with MC Hammer - that funny GOLD commercial… glad to see they make fun of themselves. We know he was having money probs - I hope he has good health insurance.
I hope he has re-written his will and has left her out of it. Leave it all in a trust for his daughter.
to # 28, i've never heard that only people with aids get pneumonia haha

i've had pneumonia for going on three weeks now (and i don't have aids!), and it's kicking my ASS. i can't imagine being 86 and having this shit. i feel like i'm drowning when i lay down because of all the crap in my lungs. should i be in the hospital? yeah, probably, but i'm one of the millions of american's without health insurance. yay! i went to a cheap clinic and got a ton of prescriptions two weeks ago - and they're not working. so i might go back to that cheap clinic next week.

it's very sad that ANY 86 year old should get cancer. i mean, we should all die peacefully in our sleep. do any of you have any idea of how painful bone cancer is? there comes to a point where pain meds (no matter how strong) stop working. i can't imagine
Very sad. I wish him comfort and peace.
Re: Charmer – Thank you. That's very sweet of you. To be frank, given the posts usually put on here, I'm surprised to find someone so kind.
Thank you very much for your condolences. It's very much appreciated
Re: Rini J –
My Grandpa died a year ago, same complications Ed is having. My condolences to you as well.
Sad to report Ed has died, Well he did have an interesting life. May his God be with him. Sad he died alone.
Re: moxiecrimefighter – Thank you so much. I underestimated the kindness of people on this site and that makes me very happy. I am sorry to hear about your Grandpa as well. My condolences to you as well. I know how hard it is to have to watch someone get so sick. I don't wish it on anyone. It really is one of the worst experiences in the world.
That's so sad. He's one of America's icons.
With sadness Ed has died, May your God be with you ed, Very sad he died alone.
This is exactly how my mom died- bone cancer w/pneumonia. Except she was 28. Sorry Ed.
I remember being like 10 or 12 years old staying up past 11:30 during the summer months to watch Johnny and Ed. I had a tough time as a little kid and lived for their show every night. It may the days passable and gave me something to look forward to each day. I hope Ed finds peace and that he knows that people considered him family. God bless you, Ed.
positive thoughts and prayers going out to you Ed, take care.
I feel sorry for him, yet everytime you post something about someone with cancer you seem to be sooo cruel about it! Obviously you are scared about it or have some demons that make you react against it… you are a poor person Piggy!
Re: Edgenet – He is not dead… he will be but not yet!
Awww, sad! May God be with you, Ed!
