      Sorry mom I love you!

They should have kept the tabloid style! RIP, RMN!

Man, this is sad. History lost. Newspapers are just not going to survive in a world where you can get news at the click of a mouse. :(

I still like to sit down and read a newspaper however.

Haven't you ever been at a website, this one perhaps and thought, "How nice it would be if I could get all this information in a paper form so I could carry it with me and read it on the train, toilet, dinner table . . . . "

I think if newspapers were fair and not pushing their ideologies onto their readers they'd be in a lot better shape. That said, my local paper gets thinner every year. Eventually there will come a point when it's just not worth the money.

The final issue was the coolest thing! It has all kinds of history in it. The paper ran for just about 150 years. So sad. I have a copy to show my kids and grandkids. :(

I saw this on Inside Edition. So sad. Just when I was getting to the age where I could appreciate the value of a newspaper, they are going to start disappearing. Oh, the irony!
