Robin Williams Is Coming Back to Broadway

robinwilliams.jpg

After a seven year absence, Robin Williams is heading back to the Great White Way!

The funnyman will do a VERY limited run of his hugely successful one-man show, Weapons of Self Destruction, at the Neil Simon Theater on April 28th, 29th and May 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.

Robin just finished up an 80-city, sold-out, US tour of Weapons, so it looks like Broadway's in for something good.

"I'm excited to be back on Broadway," said Williams. "It's been a blast working on new material for this tour. The current state of the country's political and economic climate, while so hard on so many people, has been like gold for a comedian. There's just so much that's ripe for the picking."

Are you excited about seeing Robin on Broadway?

Robin Williams in person is way better than in his films. I saw him on this current tour and had stomach cramps afterward from laughing so much. The man is a comedic genius.
