Russell Simmons Agrees to Pay $40K A Month For Child Support!

All the divorce business between Kimora Lee Simmons and Russell Simmons has been sorted out!
On Thursday, Kimora was granted sole custody of the two daughters (9-year Ming and 6-year old Aoki) she had with the music mogul.
Why didn't he get ANY custody???? Very odd.
Kimora and Russell's divorce was finalized in January.
Court documents also show that Russell has agreed to pay $40,000 a month in child support until each daughter reaches 19 and a half years old.
Dayum! Them some expensive babies!
Writing a big check is so much easier than parenting 24/7, eh Russ?

It seems as though Kimora and Russell have been very adult in dealing with their children. They more than likely didn't have to define every waking moment of their daughters lives in order to come to a custody agreement. Having sole custody of a child does not mean that the child or in this case children do not see their non-custodial parent.

It's not odd he doesn't have any custody. Just visitation. It's better for the kids to not have to bounce back and forth between two households and to have one parent have the main responsibility of custody.

I notice in most pics of them as a family the girls sit on mom or beside her instead of with Russell.
Also he has to have only monitored visitation with a nanny and security person at all times!!! Makes me wonder if she's got something over on him and he's agreeing to all this to keep her quiet.
I feel like if there is an issue, that statement and silence will make the point. If however, there isn't and he's just really a busy person or not great at playing with the kids, she should make a statement about why she got sole custody and why the visitation is monitored because otherwise it makes him look like he's abusive or neglectful as a parent. That can damage his reputation big time!

Well Kimora loves a fab life same as her precious girls… they are really beautiful and Kimora is a wonderful and smart person… Russell is really nice to let Kimora keep sole custody of the girls, he knows he is welcome anytime and his relationship with Kimora is still wonderful!
