Celebrity Apprentice Premieres To Worst Ratings Ever!

Surprisingly, NBC's Celebrity Apprentice premiered Sunday night to just 8.9 million viewers.
That's a decrease of 16% from 2008's debut!
Surprisingly, though, Donald Trump's show did do fairly well, even coming in second place in the ratings, following ABC's two hour Brothers & Sisters special.
In fact, Sunday's numbers gave NBC one of its best time-period ratings in almost a year.
Sucks for NBC that even bad ratings are good for them!

I knew it. Too many pseudo-celebrities- talentless nobodies and has-beens looking for a second wind!
Times are tough, so interest in 'celebrities' is waning a bit.
The show did well enough out of the gate, and could catch on.
Or not.
The numbers are good enough, according to you.

I watched but I only recognized 2 of the "celebrity" women and I totally missed who got the boot. I probably won't be watching ever again because Trump sucks ass!
Depends on where your from… 9 million people is a lot to me.

the problem is that these 'shows' don't seem to know what the definition of celebrity is. They use the same dictionary as Perez. Who wants to see some of these people? Joan Rivers? Uhm…I can't even name any others or care about any others. most are has been or never beens. Same thing for dancing with the stars(Kim Kardasian ?), Celebrity Fit Club (screech) 90% I would not call real celebrities, just people sucking up their 15 minutes and going over their time. some people I have not heard of. and when you do have these people on the 'celebrity' version of these shows, the show is so dumbed down. besides, aren't most people so sick of seeing the donald? bring on a new reality show, bring back rosie and have 'the donald and rosie till dealth. each week, a different weapon, until one of them permantly falls. the first week would be the mouth. in fact, alternate them arguing everyother week. the alternate weeks, they could use these other celebrities as weapons, kardasian's butt as a bat. smother someone with pam. a's boobs.,
Am I the only one that thought this looked at least SEMI interesting???

I love this show. I saw the Donald on Hannity last week; his hair is embarassshing. I love that Dice got fired. He is an a–hole but he is still no where close to the obvnoxiousness of Gene Simmons last years. Dennis ROdman was my second choice to get canned. He did nt help the team when they needed it.

I watched it last night and thought it was amusing.
I do like this show but i do HATE watching Donald trump talking bout it like his show is the second coming ! He is like its got the best ratings for NBC , its so great etc , damn give it a break oh mr.Humility.
The suits at NBC knew what they were doing when they scheduled this show for Sunday night–ratings Siberia.
The Donald–short-fingered vularian that he is–assembled a cast of detestable little has-beens that don't have a fan base. Doesn't he know how to say NO to cloying people like these?
Piers Morgan and Omarosa rocked compared to this.

I loved it, and my power went off because of the snow 15 minutes before the show was over. I was devastated. The Donald is all those nasty things, but I still love him.
One reason may be the fact that they are really stretching the definition of the word "celebrity".
