Heroes Needs A Hero! Show On Its Last Legs

Heroes needs a hero to help save its ratings and its future!

In a Tweet to fans, Heroes co-star Greg Grun wrote, "Winding down shooting Season 3 Heroes. Tough to say goodbye to crew not knowing if any or all of us will return next year. Hope all."

The post, of course, sparked a panic among fans, who are among TV's most passionate, which caused Grun to post a follow up Tweet saying, "Don't get me wrong, 'Heroes' IS coming back next year, but some crew take other jobs, so it's tough."

Indeed, the show's future remains unclear with ratings hitting an all-time low on Monday. The vast cast and locations also makes it one of the most expensive dramas on television.

    It started off fun, everyday people discovering they had powers figuring out how to use them. then it morphed into this stupid grand conspiracy where everybody just happened to be related to everybody else, people went from good to bad to good, too much attention was focused on boring charaters like Claire or Peter etc… need I go on? It was the same problem X-Files have, go back to having every episide stand on it's own…that was when it was a good show.

    Cross plots and plots within plots are what killed this show.. It's sad really….. it just spun out of control.. Who has the time?

    The writers fucked up the show and NBC over-hyped it.
    It was an interesting idea that didn't have legs- like "Lost".

    And Hayden and Milo broke up… so we all know it's over.

    Buh-bye.

    Season 1 of Heroes was some of the most well written, well acted, riveting television. Season 2 they had me until about halfway into the season when it started to get stupid.

    I started watching Season 3 but left midway into the first episode and won't go back.

    OHH god, I used to love Heroes, it was just amazing, I think maybe one of the best shows in televisions history… but now it is just crap… yes, just: CRAP, so, if they want to cancel this show tomorrow it will be ok, It's just to boring, stupid and silly to go on watching it.

    I used to be such a big fan of Heroes but it died in Season 3 and I stopped paying attention. It sucks though cuz a lot of the actors on there are very talented but they're stuck on a show like that. Oh well. And btw Perez, it's Grunberg, not Grun, haha!

    It been getting good again since the mid-winter break. I wish they hadn't gone and fucked up season 2 or this wouldn't be the discussion. Tune back in if you have gone away, it worth watchin again.

    I used to watch it. I loved it and was fascinated by it. I even bought season 1 on dvd. But by the end of season 2 i was bored and confused and sick of the story line always going in to "what ifs" of the past and future instead of the now. I havent even watch 1 episode of season 3….they totally killed it.

    The newest season totally sucks, I don't know how they fucked up so badly after the first two seasons were so amazing, but personally I stopped watching a while back..

    Now, here's a show that does NOT deserve to be renewed. A show like LOST may only average 11.5 million viewers a week, but Heroes is even worse off this season. And when taking quality into consideration, LOST demolishes Heroes. No contest
