More Details On The Survivor Of The NFL Boaters' Accident!

It's being reported that Nick Schuyler, the football player rescued on Monday in the missing boaters search, had been floating in the water since Saturday afternoon!!!

All four of the men were together for about 12 hours after the fishing boat capsized, but the tide drifted the friends further and further apart as time went on.

How terrifying!!!

Schuyler sustained minimal injuries, suffering from dehydration and a below normal body temperature, with a few cuts and bruises here and there, but was alert and aware of his surroundings at the time of his rescue.

The U.S. Coast Guard have continued their search for the remaining three missing players, tripling the coverage area. They also plan to use Schuyler as a tool for information to help localize the search.

We'll continue to keep you updated!

They found him holding on to the boat that had flipped over. The guys just couldn't hold on I guess, and that's why they haven't been found yet.

Did anyone else watch the wife being interviewed? I've never seen someone look so happy while their loved one is lost at sea. All smiles this twat was.

    19. 19

I'll say it again. Shame if those athletes are drowned. It's too bad they didn't invite Chris Brown to go with them though. He's about as worthless as they come

    20. 20

      I don't foresee a happy ending.
There's a lesson here about maritime safety and preparedness. My condolences to the families.

    21. 21

No more details idiot! You just took the time to read what you posted (copy passted) previously stupid FAG!

    22. 22

It's supposed to get down into the 30's tonight in that part of Florida. :-( I send prayers that these poor men are found alive - and soon.

      && wishing for the best…

    25. 25

Please, can all the people think about the family and friends of these guys? I live in Tampa, and I know one of them. I pray that they find them all soon and alive. It's just an awful situation.

    26. 26

      Sad….

    27. 27

      Come back nick……

    28. 28

If they havent been found by now, I don't see a happy outcome, my thoughts are with the familys :(

    29. 29

I'm hoping for a miracle, and that they will be found alive and at least relatively well. That's a long time to be in the water…

    30. 30

Very unfortunately, they will not find the other three alive. It's going on three days way out in the Gulf with nothing but life vests. The waves were 14 feet and the temp out there was down in the 30's last night. And that's the air temp. The water temp was much colder. Not a chance in hell. They will probably call off the search after today. What the hell they were doing that far off the coast of St Pete in a small open boat is beyond me. Everyone knows you never do that. I feel really bad for their families.

    31. 31

I live in the tampa bay area and all the media outlets last week, strongly cautioned everyone for the whole week of an upcoming cold front and warned us of the gusty winds and storms that was coming our way. Why these guys went out there, I do not understand!

    32. 32

Re: Vintage7787 – youre ass is old

    33. 33

I live here in Clearwater and I hate to say what I'm about say, but it's true…(make no mistake, I feel bad for them) BUT, …the weather that day was NOT boater friendly. If they had checked the weather forecast - (which boaters NEED to do - especially if you're going out more than a few miles) - they would have seen that the morning weather was OK, but a HUGE front was coming in to the coast later that afternoon. A big cold front coming through on the west coast of Florida = STORMS. Everyone who lives here knows that. If they had gone out a few miles, they would have been OK because they could have been on land quickly when the weather got rough. Then, to boot - they went out 50 miles into the Gulf of Mexico - 50 MILES!!! People simply don't go out 50 MILES in only a 21 fooot boat WITHOUT checking the weather forecast. I wasn't even going boating that day, but knew simply from the TV/radio that a cold front with storms was going to be passing through later that day in question. It was stupid boating - a stupid choice that they made - a deadly choice. They are dead now. There is no chance of survival after 3 days now - the hypothermai and dehydration is not something they can live through - that's what the Coast Guard was saying if they had not found them by this morning.

    34. 34

This is heartbreaking….God please watch over them if they are still alive & keep them safe until they are found…

    38. 38

Bless their little hearts. prayer go out to the families.
