I honestly don't understand why she has so many haters on this site.. Artists now-a-days have stopped trying all together, she may not be 100% original but when almost everything has been done, it's very easy to find similarities with anyone- She genuinely seems like she enjoys this, she can sing her ass off, I've seen her live, she's truly captivating, she really gets into it.. She is unique, she isn't the same carbon copy pop tarts the industry has been pushing on us since the 90s, her ENTIRE CD is fabulous.. many people may not like it but for those who like that genre of music to begin with there truly is not a bad song on that CD. People not liking her is acceptable, there are many artists out there I myself am not very fond of but I do wish people could see past her "oddness" and realize she is a wonderful thing for pop music in general, we needed something with a little more oomph, it's nice to have someone actually look like they are enjoying this, not like they are just doing it for the money AND she truly is a talented girl.

The pictures of STEFANI GERMANOTTA aka Lady gaga when she was in High School look so plain. She was average. Perez has posted these pics. Now in my opinion if you are "unique" you will have that look before and after exposure. She is talented indeed and she can give a great performance. I like her but to say that her LOOK is original is wrong. We don't see anybody else rockin this look RIGHT NOW except her, so yes it is refreshing. I'm pretty sure this wasn't her style before she became famous and her manager,agent, record label agreed that she needed to come out with a style that will intrigue the audience. They told her to play that part and she did. OTHERS CREATED GAGA, so I can see how people might mistake that for being fake. But hey if it works and the outcome is great why not pretend to be unique?

I love Debbie Harry, Madonna, Gwen Stefani, Christina Aguilera, Grace Jones, Tori Amos, Bjork, Britney Spears, and I especially love Dale Bozzio (I even met Dale Bozzio at my local radio station and had a very nice long chat with her)…….but I also happen to love Lady Gaga. She's odd, weird, different, but also innovative, creative, confident, and a true artist with a great voice (check out her acoustic version of Pokerface on Youtube for some serious proof that she does not NEED to lip sync all the time like Britney does). Why does everyone have to spew so much hatred towards her. She's just trying to do her thing, just like everyone else…and she's having lots of success. Just Dance was #1 all over the world and her new single Pokerface is already #6 on the Billboard Hot 100 and its climbing up the charts everywhere else around the world. So, she's not a one hit wonder. And the reason why so many people are obsessed with her is because she stands out, she's a real musician and songwriter who can truly sing and play piano like nobodys business. Plus she never has a bad word to say about anybody and she supports the gay community (where she basically got her start from). Give her a break and stop hating her so much. She's MARVELOUS!!!

NeYo is 100% correct. Lady gaga is a real ARTIST. Every other pop star out there is just a singer or performer. Everyone loves to throw around that word and say they are the next up & coming "artist". But just because you can sing and dance - that doesn't mean sh*t. She writes her own songs, choreographs her own performances, and designs her own clothes! Britney, Christina, & Madonna lip sync all the time during their performances. Lady Gaga always sings live - that's real talent! Love her or hate her, you all have something to say about her…and that's exactly what she wants. So all the haters out there: keep talking, you're making Gaga famous!
