Jade Goody's Cancer Has Spread to Brain, Given Only Four Weeks to Live

On Tuesday, it was revealed that doctors have told British reality TV star, Jade Goody, she has only weeks to live.
And, terminally ill Jade's cervical cancer has spread to her brain!
A family friend tearfully told the UK's Sun:
“Jade was told while in a hospice at the weekend that the cancer was travelling freely in her blood and had spread to her brain. This is, of course, awful but not unexpected. She has already been told the disease is terminal. But by understanding how it is travelling in her body, the doctors have a chance of giving her the right medication to control the pain. This hasn’t shortened her life expectancy, which remains at weeks. But of course it is another extremely painful reminder of what lies ahead. Jade still wants to go home, but won’t until she can be given the correct medication to make her condition bearable. She doesn’t want to see her kids upset.”
So, so, sad.

This is sad, but there are worse things going on in the world that effect far more people than trashy reality stars who got a cancer that can be prevented by using a fucking condom. Sorry if that's harsh, but it's true. Cervical cancer is caused by HPV, which she wouldn't have gotten if she had safe sex. End of.
Sadly, we’re about to lose Patrick Swayze, Jade Goody and Ed McMahon. It would be wonderful if medical technology could find the root cause and a CURE for all forms of cancer in the very near future.
I knew someone who had it spread to the brain. They were given a few weeks but sadly only lasted a few days. So sad for them and the people who love them.

this is a question I fight with myself over and over: would you want to know just how much longer you have to live? I don't know if I would even if that means getting all of my affairs into order. Now, all we can do is pray she isn't in pain.

Her poor kids lose out to fame yet again! Shouldn't she be spending her last weeks with her children rather than with the media? I mean, even time with her chil-beating husband would be better than getting those last drops of "fame".

That poor girl. Nature can be so cruel. How helpless it must feel to have something like that raging through your body and nothing can be done to help you. I can't imagine the pain I would feel knowing I wouldn't get to see my children grow up.

You know the feeling when you're sitting in your cubicle at work and constantly looking at the clock and go "Damn, it's only 4.20pm". And then what seems like forever, you look at the clock again, and it's only 4.40pm. That's the same I get from this nobody. Yeah, cancer sucks, but what about all the other people in the world who is dying of it too? Why is it only her who gets all the attention and freebies?

This is so tragic. As a mother, I can't imagine having the knowledge of when my life will end, and having to prepare small children for that. It's just so unfair. Her poor sons!

This is so sad. But quit putting "fell better" across her photo. The women is DYING. Writing things like "feel better"and "get well soon" on her photo or in your blog is insulting. She has metastatic cancer and is probably in pain 24 hours a day. Sure, we would all like for her to "feel better" but wake up to reality Perez and stop being ignorant and stop insulting her and being disrespectful.

I have read, true or not, that she ignored an abnormal pap test….obviously not a good idea.
I'm sad for her and her kids but just don't understand why she never went back to get the problem taken care of when she was told to, 3 years ago. I had the same thing happen to me and the procedure to freeze the cells is really not bad at all. It's quick too and you feel just fine after.
It just amazes me that she had two little boys and was told to do this and she could prevent it from turning to cancer and she didn't do it???? I can imagine the guilt she must be feeling right now. her poor boys will have anger knowing their mom could have done something about it and had plenty of time to handle it. I have a son and I go to the dr every year to be tested and make sure everything is ok. I would never do anything that would possibly take me away from my son, never!

ill admit that i had no idea who jade goody was before all of this happened, but i feel awful for her and her family, especially her boys. my thoughts and prayers go out to her.

Just because the cancer is in her blood stream doesn't necessarily mean that it has travelled to her brain. There is a blood brain barrier that is not very well understood. She may or may not have brain mets. A little information in the wrong hands is very dangerous. I think unless it comes from Max Clifford then it can't be trusted. Her friends should shut the hell up and concentrate on supporting their friend in her time of need. FFS! Poor poor woman. The vultures are circulating.

She looks quite healthy in her last hours, she is spending so much more time with the media than her children & family , it has been so long that these are her last days, and those millions she has made so far is not enough for someone's future? ( her two boys in her case) I feel a bit that we watch another kind of big brother!
I would not be surprised if one day Jade will be back in health & alive from a miracle!!!!!! Anyway, I wish for her this miracle to happen
