Sorry P, the whole tour looks like giant lip-sync rip-off of Madonna,
the costumes are horrible (but I do give her credit for avoiding most of her hits). She's not booked at MSG–that in my opinion, makes her look very bad. She's playing the smaller venue in Newark, which means she couldn't sell the Garden twice. I think she's really sad, this woman should not be working a year after a nervous breakdown. I think the future is Gaga.

Wow, she doesn't sing a note live. Not one. That is just crazy. The more I look at this, the more it looks like she's trying to create a companion piece to Madonna's Sticky & Sweet Tour. But, this is imitation, not innovation. I couldn't get through the Onyx Hotel Tour on Showtime (yes, it was that bad), but Perez I would have to say would be much better than that weird creature that she used on the last tour to speak. I am thinking that she's very heavily medicated with mood stabilization drugs, so she will make it through this tour, and perhaps someday she will actually come out with something that is original live, than thank being a poor man's Madonna. I am very excited to see what Lady Gaga has in store for us in NYC on 3/31/09. She says her goal is to be bigger than Madonna, and at her age Madonna said she wanted to "rule the world." In Gaga I see someone who looks at Madonna, does her
own amazing version of "Holiday," "Let's Dance" is Holiday 2008…but it's original. People are copying Gaga's fashion, not the other way around. I think she's the future of Pop, and I think Britney needs to take a vacation and raise her boys, and take care of herself (and take some voice lessons so she can at least try to warble through one song live).
