For those of you who care, the Olsen twins' clothing line, Elizabeth and James, has rolled out its Spring 2009 collection online.
It falls short of spectacular.
And, a lot of the stuff seems soooooo overpriced for what it is!
We have a feeling that many of you have more important things to buy than a pair of $250 shorts.
Just sayin'!

OMG. This stuff is not only waaaaay overpriced, but also very ugly. Additionally, their site takes sooooo long to load and sometimes doesn't work. I disapprove.

their clothes are "boring" because they are basic wardrobe staples. a blazer. shorts. chic little dresses. also, they are probably so pricey because they are well made. like i said, cute stuff, id never buy it though. i cannot afford it, sadly =(
They were SO cute on Full House but on talk shows they just seem like humorless bitches. Its too bad as i think they are still really pretty but like my grandmother said Pretty is AS pretty Does so not so pretty I guess.

Anyone notice the models are in need of an eating disorder intervention? Perhaps whichever twin went to rehab for it could help her, not promote that look. Fine that they are skinny, but there is a HUGE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN "Skinny Minnie" and Anorexic!!! That poor model is definitely in the 2nd category - FEED HER!!

personally, i love their clothes, they're made well, and fit nicely, and they're no more overpriced than any of the other "contemporary" designers out right now. . if it's cute, and it looks good, i don't care who's name is attached! (that being said, i do love them. .)

I bought an oversized sweatshirt from their line…it was $200 but I paid $70 for it. I personally love the shit out of it. I think their clothes are cute and yes overpriced, but who isn't?? they're made just as well as any other clothing line, and better than Beef Curtains' line with the overdone asymmetrical shoulder look.

I like alot of their stuff. It seems to be cut for the very skinny, and very rich. Unfortunatly, I am neither.

I swear these girls are seriously delusional!! I just went to their website to check out what was on their and for how much $$ just out of curiosity and I almost fell over when I saw what they wanted for their shit! Maybe, just maybe they jewlery could pass for some of the prices but the clothes!! NO FREAKIN' way!! I really don't understand how they possibly could think that anyone would pay what they are asking. When they had their little clothing line at Walmart that was one thing but this "upper" line is just too funny. You can get the t- shirts for 5 bucks at any discount store at any of the clothing or garment districts down in LA. With the way that the recession is too, I am just baffled at what they are even thinking. But whatever, if they actually think that they are going to make money off of any of it then more power to them' I guesse.
