Reese Opens Wide

In the new issue of Elle magazine, Reese Witherspoon opens up a bit about her life, her divorce, and her current relationship with Jake Gyllenhaal.
The 32-year-old mother of two said her split from Ryan Phillippe was "very humiliating and very isolating. But, by the way, if it's not painful, maybe it wasn't the right decision to marry to begin with. Those are the appropriate emotions."
She makes a lot of sense!
Reese adds, "When people get in your face and say, 'This will pass,' you think, Are they crazy? I'm never gonna feel any better than I feel right this minute and nothing's ever gonna make sense again. And I still have moments where I'm like, Nothing's ever gonna make sense again."
As for her current beau, she says of GyllenHO, "He's fabulous. He really is a fantastic guy."
What, too hard to say you love him?
And what about those rumors that she's a Type A personality?
Reese says, "I don't think I'm a control freak. I think I'm just fearful. I operate from a lot of fear, like, of things being lost or forgotten or neglected. Losing the spiritual rather than the physical."
Oh, and she wants us to believe she's not shy of the paparazzi or interviews. "It's so funny to me that somehow I've been portrayed as a very, like, closed-off or uptight person. I'm very open," she says.
Somehow, we're just not buying this whole interview!

I think Reese is awesome, and so down to earth. She is beautiful and talented, and the way she handled that whole divorce speaks volumns of her wonderful nature. Great mom too by the way!
While I don't buy the "I'm open" statement, I like Reese and I think she's very smart and grounded for a woman her age.
She is smart and successful and a focused woman. With all the nitwits like Lindsay Lohan and Kim Kardashian out there, to actually hear from a mature young woman is so refreshing.
