On Tuesday, we applauded R&B crooner Usher when he said he was 'disappointed' in the pix of Chris Brown sunbathing and jet skiing in Miami because they made Beat Her Down look like an unremorseful prick.
Well, Usher is now taking his comments back!
WTF happened? Did Chris and his heavies threaten him too?

Here's the 'take back' statement Usher's camp issued on Tuesday night:
"The comments made during a recent recording session amongst friends were taken out of context and blown out of proportion. I apologize on behalf of myself and my friends if anyone was offended. The intentions were not to pass judgment and we meant no harm. I respect and wish the best for all parties involved."

Now i'm not one of these people who is out for his blood…He is 19 and I hate to think his whole life should be defined by this one incident….but for awhile he needs to suffer. He can not just walk away from this unscathed….not just for the publics sake and the bad example that would set….but for his own sake. He needs to go on Larry King Live and admit what he did and give a "genuine apology". He needs to go to court and plead guilty….and not try to get away with anything. He needs to do public service announcements telling his fans that he was wrong. He needs to do charity work. He needs to act humble for awhile and not give out the perception that he isn't taking these charges seriously.
The public will forgive him in time if he does these things….If not….he's fucked…because the minority supporting him now won't be able to buy enough of his music to keep him in the business.
Usher telling Chris to "show some remorse and get off the jet ski" was GREAT advice….advice he should not have taken back….and advice he should have gotten from the man he's paying to do damage control for him.

Some friends of mine and myself are already boycotting Rhiana and Chris Brown in our homes. and want to make sure there songs are not played at any school dances.
