GaGa Explodes, U2 Implodes!
All hail GaGa!
The Lady's debt album, The Fame, is skyrocketing up the U.S. album charts, holding the #7 place this week on the Billboard charts, even though The Fame has been on record shelves for quite awhile! The album was at the #10 spot last week.
As we reported previously, Taylor Swift snatched the #1 position from The Jonai, who only made it to #3. Sorry fellas! You guys were even beat out by Lamb of God's Wrath!.

Early predictions expect U2 to steal the #1 spot from Swift next week with the release of the lackluster No Line On The Horizon. The numbers are a giant step down for the supergroup, though!! No Line is expected sell 400,000 to 450,000 units this week.
U2's last album sold 840,000 copies in it's first week alone!!!
The numbers don't lie - half of U2's fan base has disappeared or just think the new album, which leaked a while ago, sucks!!

Perez, you fucking suck. We get it, you LOVE Gaga and you HATE U2. While I love me some Gaga, there's no chance in hell her career will be as long and successful as U2's. These guys are fucking legends. Yeah, they made some mistakes. And you know what? Their last album may have sold more but it was disappointing to a lot of people,while their new one is getting very good reviews. Please, stop kissing Gaga's ass, she may be the flavor of the month but she'll be gone soon. And if you should know that people don't buy CD as much as they used to.I mean, the country is in a fucking recession.

U2's album sales will be hurt by the internet. I'm a fairweather fan. I like the album, but I've already listened to it a half dozen times by streaming it from their myspace page.

I've only heard the single so far, but it sucks, not motivated to buy the album, unusual for me since I usually buy all albums by U2, but just not feeling this one, also Bono used to be cool, now he's like MANdonna, he tries too hard, I finally purchased Lady Gaga's cd last week, base on the Poker Face single, which totally rocks, liked most of the cd, strong debut
U2 was on Letterman last night…and they KICKED ASS. Lady GooGoo will be old news within a few years….U2 is ROCK ROYALTY…22 Grammys and more to come.

Hello! We are in a recession! If ANY band sells 500k in one week that would be truly impressive. No Line IS a solid U2 cd. Have someone other than your 19 year old intern give it more than 1/2 a listen and you will see or read the Rolling Stone 5 star review.

First of all, dont be dissing Lamb of God (I love Taylor, JB and them, as well as Gaga, so good for her)
But, as much as I love old U2, new U2 kinda sucks. Their performance at the Grammy's was probably the least entertaining. old U2 rocked, they have become Green Day and are turning too mainstream, thats why I am not a Jonas fanatic like I used to be, their old stuff was more 90s youth/punk rock and now its more mainstream pop/rock. Hope they, as well as U2, go vintage in future projects.
