Could the man behind Playboy be reaching his end?
According to many, it seems that way.
Apparently, 83-year-old Hugh Hefner has been looking rather frail and ill lately.
On Saturday night, Hef made a brief appearance at the Annual Kandyland Masquerade Ball held at the Mansion. Several partygoers said Hugh looked to be in good spirits, but wasn't as alert as he usually is.
One source said, "He looked so old, like he had aged 10 years in the last month and was barely moving."
Hef spent time with his new "number one" girl Crystal, while the two 19-year-old twins also living with him partied ahead of them.
The insider added, "Things aren’t quite the same since Holly and the girls left. Hef loves all the new ones, but I think the transition really took its toll."
Really? We think the fact that he's in his mid 80's plays a big part in it as well!
Update: A rep from Playboy contacted PerezHilton.com and stated, "There is no truth to these rumors. Hef is perfectly fine."
Who to believe? Only time will tell.

Whether or not they were ACTUALLY his girlfriends or what… I think the man is generous to a fault and very kind to his "family" of girls.
