On Thursday, Alex Rodriguez's brother revealed to ESPN that the Yankees slugger will have surgery to remove a cyst from his right hip and will be out of commission for awhile.

Ten weeks is the amount of time A-Roid will need to rehab himself back into shape after the surgery.

Are steroids known to cause cysts?
