Tyra Banks' aging America's Next Top Model is losing steam!
Are y'all sick of TyTy talking about herself and the nowhere-near top model material featured on the show?
Season 12 premiered on Wednesday to lower than expected ratings.
According to Media Week, the 12th cycle clocked in at a 3.3/5 rating, down .3 from cycle 11, which kicked off in September of last year.
Media experts say while the erosion was not steep, both comparisons were already down significantly year-to-year.

I actually….have been tired of her constantly talking about herself. But she looked pretty decent last night. Her makeup and trannyness was toned down. I liked last night's show. Better than the last one!

Season 12?? Is that a joke? I can't believe girls are still entering that competition when none of the past seasons' winners has even made it big as top models. That show should really be called "Tyra's I love myself Show".

I stopped watching about 6 episodes in the first season, then my daughters and their friends quit watching in the 2nd season, just because Tyra is so rude and annoying. She is so abrasive, to me, hearing her talk is like hearing someone scratching a chalk board, over and over again!
it's just the same show cycle after cycle after cycle. I like it, I watch it, don't miss it on Wednesdays….it's my guilty pleasure. It doesn't matter if they are ever "heard of", they still make more money then I do at my 9-5 walking down runways. Just because they haven't been "heard of" does not mean they are not modeling making good money. Most models aren't Tyra Banks, Adriana Lima, Aggy Deyn, Naomi Campbell, Iman, etc. doesn't mean they aren't working!
In the begining seasons I liked it, I liked the competition aspect of it.
But now I think it's gotten too scripted and over the top and Tyra gets more annoying and crazy every season.
They should just cancel it already!! And the Tyra Show too
i think advertising wasnt on par as well… im sure it was only pushed on the CW, and since GG has been all repeats- not alot of people are tuning in.

Ty Ty is just annoying. So many pictures of her. At least in the earlier seasons she had one on ones with the models (showing she kind of cared). It is really about finding the right catalog model.
Last night I watched Make me a Supermodel. Those were real models.

Tyra enriched herself with this awful show while not one participant became a top model. This show has no credibility, not to mention that if anyone gets a magazine cover, they have to share the picture with Tyra.
You know the new season supposedly for shorter girls and my sister went to the one in San Francisco. They didn't look at the girls portfolios or even ask their names! At the end they picked the tallest girls they could get. And the advertisements claimed Tyra would be there but when people asked about her they were told she was in the hotel but wasnt helping with additions!!

Ok… the term "12th Season" says it all
We've seen the same thing 11 times already… It's just different girls doing the same old thing. Plus, it makes some other girls who can't make it on feel horrible. That's probably why it's not doing too well. I watched maybe 2-3 full seasons and it's always the same thing… All that is different is Tyra's body shape in every season. She seems to get a little bigger everytime. Other than that, the girls and the judges are all the same. Same with American Idol. BOO.
I really like the idea of the show -HOWEVER Tyra is beyond annoying and never stops talking about herself. My boyfriend had to make me stop watching the show because i would yell at the TV.

Love Tyra, I watched the premiere episode and none of the girls are that pretty… If your going 2 be a model you have 2 be gorgeous, all the girls were either plain, ghetto, or just fugly, who picks the contestants should be fired….
