Chris Beat Her Down's Plans to Rehab His Tanking Career

Chris Browns 'team' is apparently working on overdrive to salvage his sinking career.
According to the Chicago Sun-Times, Beat Her Down and his 'victim', Rihanna, are set to co-author a book about abuse and go on a talk show tour to speak directly to their fans and the general public.
Other things on the ”Project Mea Culpa” do do list includes Brown's telling of his increasingly abusive behavior toward Rihanna, and partnering with clinical experts in the field to add credibility to their couples counseling efforts.
A source close to the Beat Her Down camp said, ”Obviously this is a public relations campaign, but it only will work if there's genuine healing, contrition and a path to preventing future problems. … It's another example of trying to turn a bad situation into something good … where people can learn to change habits.”
If he was really sorry, why did he have to sound like such a pompus, unrepentant prick in his first post-beat down statement?

Any competent counselor will not do couples counseling when there is domestic violence. It puts the victim in direct danger of her abuser. The abuser can and usually will use anything the victim says in session about him against her once they are in private. Counseling is supposed to be a safe place but it isn't when the your partner will later abuse you for everything you say. Also if you report harm to yourself or others the counselor can legally report you to authorities.
Contact COVER GIRL/PROCTOR & GAMBLE and tell then Rhianna is not a role model for SPOKESPERSON. Continue your relationship with your abuser???? What a terrible message to send!!!! He's only sorry he got caught.

Wow…. Ok then…. Well Chris Brown is a very talented young man. If this is true well I wish them ALL the best. It'll be a shame to see Chris's career go down the drain because of mistakes he made cause he is too immature. I think he should get counseling to try to become a better person and learn to deal with his rage.
I'm a HUGE fan of Rihanna as well and I was shocked when I heard this and I couldn't believe it. They seemed so happy and in love, I guess looks are deceiving? She should continue to get conseling to deal with the abuse she suffered at the hands of Chris Brown.

That being said, I really do hope these two are in love and that the situation ends up being healthy. Unlike most of you vultures circling tragedy with an eye toward negative outcomes, I tend to think that what we see isn't always as simple as it seems, and I hope that ALL PARTIES end up being BETTER after it's all over.
I know this is a hard concept to swallow, but try it on for awhile, you might just see where I'm coming from. FYI…it's much easier to condemn people, and it's probably even more fun.
