When I would hear people say "irregardless" it would make me want to go up to them and shake them and shout "that is NOT a word". However, far less people say "irregardless" than those who say "your" rather than "you're". What happened to the apostrophe and the letter "e"? When I see or hear this from teens, I dismiss it as them having slept the day they were learning about proper use of conjunctions. However, I lose more hope in our society when I see or hear a supposed educated or professional person use “your” in place of “you’re”. Example for those who may not understand…Perez you’re a dip shit. That’s to say “Perez you are a dip shit”. If you were to say “Perez your a dip shit”, is incorrect. Don't name your child something wierd and different just to be that and to get some attention. Children develop nicknames, which are nice and different without having permanent effects.
