A MUST-SEE Episode of Oprah!

As we mentioned previously, Oprah Winfrey was so distraught over Chris Brown's history of violence towards Rihanna that the talk show queen is doing a special episode on domestic abuse.
In the words of Winfrey, "Love doesn't hurt!" But more importantly, "If a man hits you once, he WILL hit you again!"
The very special episode of Oprah airs this Thursday. As O said, the show will be "dedicated to all the Rihannas of the world."

That's great that Oprah is doing a show dedicated to domestic but Rihanna went back to Chris without a thought. THey dont have kids together, she has a ton of money, a family that cares so she could have gotten away from him. It's not like some women that are abused but dont have any income, have children and no where to go. RIhanna had a choice, she made it so I dont feel one ounce of pity for her.

Sometimes love does hurt. Some people, namely masochists and sadists do express their love in such ways. The difference is that it takes mutual consent. And pain is never given out of anger or temper.
So to say that any hitting in a relationship is bad is simply not true. It's only when the person isn't consenting to it that it becomes abuse. And if she keeps going back for more? I'd say she is getting exactly what she deserves and wants.

I really wish you would report both sides of this story… I read yesterday that it has come out that Rhianna was the one who started the physical altercation by hitting Chris Brown with her stiletto heel while he was driving. And while that doesnt change the bad situation- you raging an all out slander campaign against Chris Brown isnt fair considering the circumstances. Oprah is right. I loved my handsome and great husband, until he had a fit and broke things and hit me. I thought it was a one time thing but he kept it up until I had to call the police. I had him arrested and pressed charges. He went for counselling and we got back together. (I had a son and wanted to keep the marriage intact). Then he started up again and I had to go to the hospital with broken bones. I finally GOT the message and left him for good. Rhianna, leave now!
Oprah is THE VOICE . I would listen to her if I would have been Rihanna. How can you not listen to Oprah… or to Ellen? Everyday, millions of American watch her show. If she was going to send me a message via her show… MAN I WOULD LISTEN… cuz you know what… there is a million of people who witness the message and i know i would be worry about what she has to say, cuz she is a powerful woman!!

When I was younger and lived in Hollywood, my live-in beat the crap out of me and the LA cops came and said they could ask him if he'd LIKE TO leave (my apartment). If he'd LIKE to. Hospital ER for me, no sick days from my job. Naturally I did anything I could to placate him because he really didn't WANT to leave. Trump would call me a loser. Those days are long over for me, but Oprah's right - if he hit you once, he'll do it again.
