In her autobiography (which covers all of her exciting 16 years and offers a wealth of insight, we're sure), Miles to Go, Miley reveals that she suffers from tachycardia, a condition which means that her resting heart rate is faster than normal resting heart rates.
The condition is not life threatening, though it does bother her. She says, "There is never a time onstage when I’m not thinking about my heart."
Just like there is never a moment when Slutty's on stage that Pimp Daddy Cyrus is not thinking about all the money his daughter is raking in.

I have had the same problem and it ended up me being on a beta blocker which slows it down, but it also slows you down. I have been taking it for 25 years. If she does not get it under control her heart will wear out. It is like being on speed 24 hours a day 7 days a week and it made me very nervous and jumpy. That could explain her hyperactivity, cause I sure had it before meds. Good luck to her.

Ummm…yeah, tachycardia is most definitely a health condition that needs to be monitored and treated by a cardiologist. Read up on the condition~it might surprise you to find out that people have been known to drop dead from it because they never knew they had it and were not under a doctor's care. This is something that Miley will always have to be monitored for and depending on the severity she may some day need a pacemaker installed. Definitely not something to pass off as nothing.

I'm seeing here that some people are saying that Tachycardia is not a big deal…well it can be and I know because I do have it. Its not fun because you don't know when you're going to have an attack and when it happens its usually out of the blue. It happened so bad once that they had to actually stop my heart for a good two minutes and restart it not so much fun when you're 11 (I'm 23 now) since then I have had 5 ablations because it is getting worse have had over 25 heart monitors so they can watch it. They tried a beta blocker but due to my size it slowed me down so much I couldn't even get out of bed. The AMERICAN HEART ASSOCIATION even had me as a spokesperson for their heart walk one year because they labeled me a survivor. So yes in SOME cases it is controllable and in some its worse then others. Don't judge something or somebody unless you're in their situation because you don't what they've gone through and you're not a doctor so how can you judge somebody else's condition-you cant.
She is awesome and she deserves all her success.

Tachycardia episodes are very frightening BUT she can have a catheter ablation procedure done, which can likely correct the problem. The procedure was frightening as well but not as scary as having the episodes. (I've had both and the procedure corrected everything).
I too have tachycardia…and despite what she said it CAN be life threatening. with lack of proper nutrition or hydration, as well as excessive stress and too much activity you are at risk of heart attack.

I have tachycardia and it's like having NOTHING. Yeah youre heart has an irregular beat but still function like a normal person. Its kinda sad how shes using it to her advantage.
