wow i can't believe how big this story has become it's absolutely annoying and its only because the are both celebs people care about domestic abuse now but guess what? its been going on behind closed doors for decades, im so sick of people caring about issues only when celebs bring them up and guess what in another month no one will care about the issue anymore in the press anymore what a pity!

About the record sales, he released the album a long time ago, now sales are in their low points, but believe me, if he ever releases another album, his sales will be low from the get go. He has lost many fans and rightly so.

It is good that Katie Couric made these comments. We cannot stress enough that domestic abuse is NOT acceptable in ANY case or under ANY circumstance. It is unthinkable that Rhianna went back to Chris. I should know. My husband of 11 years and the father of my child was physically abusive for much of our marriage. I thought it had stopped but years later, he put me in the hospital. I left and am so very glad I finally did. Oprah is right, they WILL hit again. It is as if they express themselves that way. I had to learn that if a spouse hits you, it is the SAME as if a stranger walking down the street hit you. It is a CRIMINAL ASSAULT with BODILY HARM and is against the law. Be finished with an abuser and do it quickily before they use up years of your life.

This story is milkin'its self dry! It is the parent's responsibility to teach their children to not accept beatings from their boyfriend/girlfriend, to eat so they are not anorexic/bulimic, not to become a hooker or star in a sex tape/porno, not to get a DUI, not to do drugs, and not break all the other laws. Good job, Katie! I'm so glad that this issue is being addressed in more responsible media. It's important to talk to your kids and fin dout how they feel. The argument out there is that Rihanna didn't sign up to be a roll model and is therefore not responsible for how her going back to Chris affects young girls. Unfortunatley, at the point when young girls are getting into relationships, they've reached a point where their friends and the media have more influence over their development then their parents. If we ALL talk to our kids, we can make small changes in their communal thinking. They won't all be strugging this off if everyone's talked to their parents about it.
