    She's our Great Depression-era pop singer/songwriter/pianist. I think she takes it seriously since she has a real taste for blues. As far as sounding like other artists, this type of music is derivative anyway; it's sort of like Viva La Vida in that it sounds like a lot of other songs. I don't think that means she is stealing anything from other artists. I haven't seen anything like her in a long time! Loved it!

    I've always dismissed her as a flash in the pan.
    But this was raw and dynamic - everything a true artist should be.

    The beginning portion is a nod to Neil Young - I love her take on it though.

    Of everything you post Perez, I have to say that most of the music you feature is right on the mark.
