Beat Her Down's lawyer, Mark Geragos, has requested a meeting with the judge in his assault case to discuss Rihanna's possible silence in the court room.
Rihanna's attorney, Donald Etra, is in agreement with the request, both lawyers believing that Rihanna's position was compromised when her involvement in the case and other information leaked, and that she should no longer be subjected to public scrutiny.

Perez, most abuse victims are not very sensible, especially after they got their asses kicked. This is typical victim behavior. While it might weaken the case, it doesn't do too much damage. The police officers took her statement so they were witnesses as to what she said in the official police report and as to her condition. She was brought to the hospital and treated. There is blood evidence from the car Chris was driving. They even have DNA from him biting her. There is her statement and there are photographs of her. They have enough to convict him without her testimony. Put it this way. If she was dead she wouldn't be testifying. But they know it was him. Plus there is the phone calls to her PA from Chris admitting they fought and asking if Rihanna gave the police his name. Rihanna has been threatened by his people, Perez. Plus people with power over her career, producers, etc. want her to keep quiet. They don't understand the law. She has been told she has to soldier on for the career considerations. It is all about money. It is almost like she is being psychologically fucked with because of his career. Well. Her career is toast if she cooperates with him. Right now she is scared and mentally exhausted. And it is pretty obvious she has bad judgement. I feel real bad for her. This is not the time to be pissed. They aren't together.
