Why Is Rihanna Still With Chris Brown???? Roseanne Tells You Why!
Roseanne says a lot of things. She says a lot of outrageous things and she says a lot of stupid things, and sometimes she says something really insightful.
In her blog Roseanne proposes that Rihanna is part of her own problem because she is just as "violent" as Chris Brown.
According to Roseanne, Rihanna "thinks she has him right where she wants him now. His career is over, and he is working her to help him get it back. She thinks that since he needs her and has shown some contrition, that she can call the shots now. Violent people are control freaks, and she thinks she is in control right now. Violent couples also have passionate make up sex, and that keeps a lot of battered and beaten women hooked. Once she realizes that her fans and their parents are going to write her off completely and end her career as well as his if she stays with him, that might convince her not to do that."

She adds, "Her publicists and agents and lawyers and producers are all telling her not to risk she and brown's tandem endorsements (they don't care if she lives or dies, as long as they get their money). She is being played and used and isolated from her father. Her greed and her participation in violence, plus not wanting to cross Diddy, who wants her to put her life on the line, are powerful lures to stay in hell with a monster. I hope she lets go of her need to control other people. I hope she thinks about the horrifying message she is sending to young women and young men. She will never survive choosing brown over her dad."

She is right on the money. Everyones first initial reaction was poor RiRi. Never occurred to anyone that she might be just as violent as him because she CLEARLY lost the fight and it's hard to see past that because he almost killed her. Two peas in a pod. I think Roseannes point about the sex part is……. it is an intense, disfunctional, immature relationship. When you love them, it's like no love you have ever had before (almost addictive), when your fighting it is the worse you could ever experience. Every emotion involved is totally intense and aplified by 10 compared to a normal relationship. Roseanne is spot on. I'm not hatin' on RiRi, but didn't the arrest narrative say Ri hit him first? That doesn't not give him a right to whip her ass, but I do think it still illustrates Roseanne's point in a way. Working in LE, I have seen women provoke their attackers, again not right, but their are some that do it, either to assert their dominenance in the relationship or because they want to get the guy in trouble. Sad, but true. Regardless Brown should be given the full sentence with no probation or parole after conviction and sentencing.

In this case Roseanne has it dead-on. Chris is cowtowing (as we say in Tx!) to her and she is feeling in control and what woman doesn't love an accomodating man? His total lack of response and remorse in this case makes it SO crystal clear that he isn't in the least bit sorry for what happened- he is just sorry he got caght! He is back with her because he wants his career back and thinks that if people can see her forgiving him, then they will too But I have noticed this week that it seems the public is starting to turn on her instead…..I wouldn't have expected that but it makes sense. When I look at her now, I don't see the strong, positive, amazing girl I used to….now I see a dumb girl (which I never used to think she was) that is asking to be in this same situation again, which she will. The next time this happens (and it will), it will truly be her fault and there won't be sympathy for her. It will have been her own decision to go there. She is an adult and will have made the choice herself. No longer a victim. This is going to end up really hurting her career and I hope it doesn't cost her more than that.

Roseanne is right. I had a similar situation with a guy who was horrible to me, and as soon as he said he was sorry and sucked up to me, I had the power. It was all drama all the time. And it ended up being a MESS.

Roseanne's comments go against every piece of research surrounding women in abusive relationships With Roseanne's logic- if someone gets shot, it is their fault for jumping in front of the bullet.
