Anna Nicole Smith's Lawyer Denies Any Wrongdoing!

Howard K. Stern was arrested on Thursday and charged with multiple felonies - including conspiracy to furnish drugs - in the overdose death of Anna Nicole Smith.
Now, the former Playmate's longtime companion/lawyer is speaking out through his own attorney and talking a lot of shiz!
Stern's lawyer, Krista Bath, claims that Howie is a victim of lies and not a felon!
She says: "For over two years, I have represented Howard K. Stern in connection with civil litigation arising out his relationship with Anna Nicole Smith and false accusations published about him, including representing Mr. Stern in the body custody proceedings. In the course of that litigation, I have spent hundreds of hours reviewing depositions under oath or interviews of almost every principal witness claiming to possess first hand knowledge of Mr. Stern's relationship with Anna Nicole [Smith]. His accusers have been shown to have no credibility due to their conflicting stories, to have a bias based on their own personal agendas or to have no factual basis to support their accusations. Given the knowledge obtained from these various cases, I am confident that the criminal charges brought against Mr. Stern last evening by the State of California will likewise be shown to have no factual basis and that Mr. Stern will ultimately be exonerated with respect to his conduct.
"I would remind the public that the fundamental principle of our criminal justice system is that an individual is presumed innocent. Publicity efforts by the State of California last night and today in connection with the filing of the charges against Mr. Stern are inconsistent with that principle and jeopardize Mr. Stern's constitutional right to a fair trial. With formal charges having been filed, this case should not be tried in the court of public opinion and Mr. Stern has no intention of doing so. However, Mr. Stern and I are mindful of the reality that he has for the past several years found himself on trial in the media. The media trial of Mr. Stern has been based on constant shouts of guilty from a barrage of uninformed commentators based on totally inaccurate and often manufactured "facts." The television, tabloid and Internet trial of Mr. Stern in the court of public opinion has been based on sensational lies, speculation, rumor and gossip. Unfortunately, it appears that criminal charges have now been brought by the State of California based on this same type of misinformation.
"Mr. Stern will continue efforts to have the evidence in his civil cases unsealed and made available for public inspection and review so that hopefully any future media discussions will be informed ones, based on the actual facts and not sensationalized accusations that have no factual or legal merit. If this occurs, future discussions will focus on Mr. Stern's innocence."

We know Stern is an Attorney attached to a bunch of "Criminal" Attorneys in California who illegally rule in the favor of members of their own group. However, there are others in the justice field who happen to be in charge at this point and they have every intention (even if that means illegally) finding HKS GUILTY — and they will do that as planned. HKS will never see a cent of the Marshall fortune that he so readliy manipulated a drug addict to fight for so he could receive. Remember — HKS is known to do anything for money, even commit murder, but so are others who obvioulsly do not like him. STERN IS GOING DOWN — MAYBE HE SHOULD TAKE A DRINK OF HIS OWN DRUG COCKTAIL
"Investigators found 11 different medications in Smith's room in Hard Rock Hotel on the day of her death. Some were prescribed under aliases, some in the name of Howard Stern. The # of pills was staggering. More then 600 pills were missing from the prescriptions that were no more then 5 weeks old."

I think this guy got caught up with a druggie, who frankly was a drug addict for many many years, and is in a sense the victim - not the other way around. You know, Anna Nicole was very demanding and he was not just her lawyer but more of an assistant. Over many years of trying to keep her sweet, I think he probably just accepted that his job was to run her errands and do as she wanted. How many times in the show did we see how nuts she went when someone questioned her, let alone refused something. It must have been hard to tell what her real demeanour was like when you know, she was high pretty much all the time. I feel that Anna would have been totally crying right now if she could have seen what happens after her death. If she could have seen the reality of drug abuse, how it affects people you care about and how there are reprocussions, she would have been mortified. I mean, I think the principle problem here was there were a lot of Dr's prescribing stuff to this woman and no one kept track of what she was taking… so Howard just filled and filled and filled. I'm not saying he didn't see her as a job or a way of life… he did … but damn, this woman was a sick drug addict and she's taking everyone else down with her. The whole situation is sick.
We can only hope HKS kills himself. It would be the right thing for him to do.

No one will get the Marshall money because there is no money to get, so I doubt Vergie has the Marshall money listed as a criteria to her raising or seeing her grandaughter. The Supreme Court already made a ruling on that just Friday — the supreme court said they would not interfere in the smith -v- Marshall case, therefore Stern or no one else can get their hands on monies that have already been transferred into secret accounts.

You are so wrong. Virgie Arthur has not been the one pimping out herself as Howard & Larry have done selling every story to the media. Ms. Arthur has stated she does not want any of the Marshall money as it is tainted. ANS was broke & living on the promise of Marshall money.
It was announced yesterday that CA send the case (Smith V Marshall) right back to TX after Howard K. $tern but in an emergency request to the courts asking for this money immediately as the ANS estate cannot go on w/o it. What little money she might have had I am sure he stole already. He has sold or attempted to sell the last pics of Anna's son, pics of him laying dead in Anna's arms in the hospital, pics of him in the coffin, pics of Anna in a body bag, a trip to tell a 5 month old baby that BTW was not his that her mommy was dead, Anna's funeral, one & second year anniversaries of her death, the list goes on & on. Have you forgotten the clown video where he stated, “THIS TAPE IS WORTH MONEY?”

Larry has pimped out Dannielynn from the moment he lay hands on her & now is set to star in a reality show w/ her, has a clothing line planned & sells interviews left & right. He changed his testimony in FL & what he said to Bahamian police about Howard feeding Anna drugs after he made a deal w/ Howard. He is too lazy to work & continues to live off of his daughter.
Ms. Arthur on the other hand has sit idly by while Howard, his sister, his brother, Art Harris & Larry along w/ Krista Barth (the b!tch attorney giving the statement above) have conspired w/ www.rosepeaks.com to slander Ms. Arthur. They have faked robberies, falsified records on innocent people, stole trash & stalked anyone that speaks out for Ms. Arthur. IF he was so innocent why go to all the trouble?

Ms. Arthur lost 2 family members & sat by & took all they have dished out waiting for the officials to do their jobs. She is a hardworking retired police officer & sold a measly $5,000 for a box of pics & got a free plane trip to her grandson's grave because she is not rich & selling her story for MILLIONS like Howard & Larry. But she was vilified for doing even that.
She is an honest person who lost her grandson & her daughter. Fault her all you want to for wanting to see justice. Anyone w/ a brain could see Anna was drugged on every interview or appearance. HK$ was feeding her those drugs!
I hope you never lose a family member as Anna & Daniel Smith's family have.
I watched the clown videos of Anna and it literally made me sick to my stomach to listen to Howard in the background chuckling and making side comments. He's absolutely a leach and deserves to rot in jail forEVER. Anna may have been a drug addict beforehand but he was most DEFINITELY an ENABLER and basically like a common POS drug dealer with a college degree!! It's incredibly disturbing to see the video of Anna and that 9 year old little girl begging Howard to please "stop video taping and take her to the hospital…"

Oh please. Haward is just an ENABLER. There are millions of them. Anna did what Anna wanted PERIOD!!!! Howard loved her and she loved him. I have followed both of them for a long while. An unusual relationship it was; however I bet if he said no to her prescription drugs, he would have been out of there. I know so many people that go out and bottles of liquor for alchohol, so please!

While this guy seems like a starfucking asshole, he may have HELPED to kill her, but he did not kill her. She just would've went elsewhere.
Opiate addiction is such a vicious circle, mind-fuck that nobody can understand until they've been there.
HE fucked up and should be prosecuted for putting drugs in his own name, and the other things he did that can be proven that he broke the law. (in my opinion though, either way, the guy seems like a douchebag looking to get fame off ANS & family)

As mush as I hate HATE Howard K. Stern- I just find this investigation a waste of time and money!!! The DR's can say they had no idea she was getting drugs from other people..
