Glammed-up women in high heels went stampeding around like crazed animals trying to get out of the slaughterhouse at a casting call for America's Next Top Model in New York City on Saturday after several people in the crowd started yelling, "There's a bomb!"
Seems like some crazy bitches really overreacted to an overheating car!

Re: Texas Mom – You're being silly. I was not in New York when 9/11 happened. But I lived in New York when the Great Blackout of 2003 struck New York — the attitude amongst the folks in NYC during the Great Blackout of 2003 was magnificent.
It was such a great experience in meeting hundreds, if not thousands, of people from all walks of life getting together to drink and loiter when the electricity was out for more than 24 hours!
I think it is safe to say that NYC folks are more stoic when it comes to events like this in comparison with … say Kansas City or Atlanta. NYC folks are resilient and can survive practically everything else in particular.
As for Texan cities? They can't survive without their SUVs and that is quite pathetic.

omygod in the end did anyone see a young girl getting harrased and beating up by a white cop just over being pushed accidently through these violent mosh pit of three guys, and they punched her because she was shoved toward him and she reacted yelling at him and he then beat the crap out of her…WOW What a Nice pathetic governement.

I really agree that people are so rude that they would mock this. They belong with the loud, inpatient girls who pushed my body against 38573 other girls so tight that I couldn't even move my arm to text during the many hours standing in an entirely unorganized line with no information. I only stayed because I made a friend who I didn't want to leave alone.
This was probably one of the scariest things to be a part of and I think most people in it would agree. I have cuts and bruises and I almost threw up from the mass chaos. Everyone was delusional from standing on line for over 8 hours not eating or peeing or being able to stretch their limbs out at all. My whole body is sore today and I can't believe this is the attention this incident gets. What's the point of making fun of this? And the girls on that line?
Most of us were just pushed from behind without having even seen the car smoke. Don't generalize, it's really an ignorant way to be humorous. Why choose negativity when you don't even know what happened. It wasn't fair to have to stand on that line with inches of movement every half hour, it wasn't fair to be pushed by thousands of pounds of weight with no idea what the fuck was happening, it wasn't fair not to be seen, and it's not fair to be picked on and judged by so many people.
Fuck ANTM and everyone who chooses to disregard this because they're lazy and it's easier to, and fuck you all because you took the time to post stereotypical jeers at girls who were in that video. I have a full scholarship to school and I work, volunteer, and play 3 instruments. Choke on dicks.

If you have SO much going for you, then what why were you there in the first place? Five minutes of fame??? If you're all that honey then streak down the main street of your local town or flash your tits at an important event and you'll probably end up with 10 minutes of fame and a lot more dignity.
How is it that ten thousands of young people think they are pretty/photogenic/talented enough to become a world class model/performer/pop star etc. You don't have to rob your children of their dreams, but some realism wouldn't hurt. Most people have to earn their money by doing regular jobs. The rich & famous thing may happen to your kid, but don't let them waste their life chasing after an impossible dream. Because let's face it, many are called, but only very few are chosen.
Its stuff like this that makes me wish I could disassociate from the human race.

Re: Mistress – I agree with you. I should take responsibility for standing on that line for so many hours and allowing myself to remain in such discomfort. Though, I will tell you, I found out about it the night before and went to see a friend who was there visiting from Georgia who I never get to see. It was my last chance to before she flew home, and I couldn't find her because it was so crazy and loud. Then I met a really nice girl who was there alone and we chatted enough for me not to want to leave her there with those girls all around. Plus my mom found the whole thing pretty funny and we decided I would stay because everyone around me (other than my new friend) was pretty much busted or fat.
Persoanlly, if MTV's real world can go 20 years, so can ANTM. As long at there are good to decent ratings and the show makes money, I could never conceivably knock it, especially if you are some average joe pretending to be some media god on a website board. C'mon now! Tyra is a business woman and her show for the moment still makes money.
