Dying Jade: It's "Critical" Now, Priest Visits Goody
The last chapter in Jade Goody's life is coming to a quick end.
The dying British reality TV star, whose cervical cancer has spread to other parts of her body - including the brain, was visited by a priest on Sunday and is in a coma-like state, her publicist is saying.
Keeping the public informed on her health, like a morbid reality show, her rep says, "She is unconscious a lot of the time, almost in a coma-like state. She's heavily sedated, so she comes round for maybe a few minutes, sometimes just a few seconds and she goes again. She seems to be aware that [new husband[ Jack and [her mother] Jackiey are here."
Her rep says Goody's condition is "critical" and "It's just a matter of when."
Truly heartbreaking!
Goody has been unable to see her two young children since Wednesday, due to her weakened state.
"She was hoping to be well enough to see the boys but at the moment she is in a very bad state, she is very unwell," says her publicist.
Goody left London's Royal Marsden Hospital on Wednesday. Nurses onat her home have been able to control her crippling pain, but the painkillers appear to take their own toll. "The more sedated she is, the weaker she gets," adds the rep.

She is using the health issue as yet another tool to focus attention onto herself. The attention to women's health issues gets lost in the circus atmosphere. And she doesn't care.

This is horrific. I cannot imagine the pain associated with this, but even more I cannot imagine the pain of knowing my time with my children was limited. Can they not balance her meds out a little so that she is somewhat alert or has brief periods of time when she is more conscious so her time with them isn't over any sooner than it has to be? Your post syas the meds are weakening her. If this is true, is she so medicinally toxicated that she is aware enough to choose NOT to be inorder to see her children?

Why the fuck is this being encouraged man? She was a stupid good for nothing fucking racist who did no real good to the world and she's getting all this publicity FOR HERSELF not even bringing awareness to the disease or encouraging young girls to get vaccinated or not be such a fucking slut because FYI that's probably how she got in this mess.
MILLIONS of people die everyday of cancer and none of them get millions of pounds, magazine features, private nurses in their home 24/7 and constant media following and they fucking should because if you take one walk around a cancer ward you'll see there are children with no hair, attached to IV's, bed ridden, unable to get home to die surrounded by their family!

Why are some people so sick? No one is perfect, but surely when a young woman (or anyone else) is dying of cancer, we should show some respect. Would you be so rude to anyone else dying of cancer that had made mistakes in their life? I think we should all have the decency to grant her some respect in her final days.
This is depressing. My heart goes to her and her family and two young sons.

Such a sad, sad story. She is leaving 2 little boys motherless. I think she did this all so publicly because she has made it so that she doesn't know any better. And maybe she wnated to be a model on how to die gracefully. I really have no idea who she is in the frand scheme of things but to watch anyone die is horrible. Watched my Aunt die of the same thing. Its horrible.
My mother died from cancer a few years ago and Jade Goody's illness is mirroring exactly what we, as a family, went through. That's why I have the utmost sympathy for Jade and her family, regardless of what I think of them all, and I really can't get my head around all the spiteful and nasty comments I've read here. Why comment, or even read about someone you have no time for?

As saddening as it is to watch this happening to her, I'm proud of her for not hiding behind her illness and brining attention to the importance of cervical cancer screening! She is going to die probably today or tomorrow. Once you are in your "coma state" from Cancer, in other words you are so doped up on Morphine you are never coming back. I hope by now she has told her children that she is dying, if they don't know and they never see her again they are going to grapple with that for the rest of their lives, its incredibly sad and almost selfish on her part to have waited this long to tell them.
I hope the pain stops for her soon. What a sad story.
Well…I never heard of her until she was dying…I hope they keep her out of pain. Really though ladies…get your damned pap done annually…there is no reason for people to end up dead from cervical cancer….it should never have been left unchecked long enough to spread.

There is only one definitive test for cervical cancer and it does not come as a standard part of your annual gyno visit. Jade has wanted the media coverage of her illness because it sheds light on a very silent and cruel killer called cervical cancer. I am greatful that she has shared this with us, and hopefully it will make women take this more seriously. Many deaths could be avoided if women went for regular check ups and pap smears. Jade ignored one of the letters she recieved, and she is dying as a result of it. May god bless this young woman and her family. Her poor kids !!

I think not - these people, and I use the term 'people' very loosely indeed, are nothing more than trolls who get their weird kicks from antagonising and attacking those who have an iota of genuine human sympathy.
I never watched the show. Maybe that is why I think it is disgusting how they are making this like a soap opera? It is morbid and grotesque.
