I'm actually really impressed by this. I've always loved Drew, but not for her talent as an actor. This is the first time I've seen her do anything that resembles real acting, and I'm totally happy for her. It's about time she displays more range and versatility. Go Drew!

I saw the original documentary (got it online somewhere) and I gotta say that I will definitely be seeing this movie.
Drew Barrymore is simply uncanny as Eddie Bouvier (and I am not that much of a fan of hers).

I can't wait to see it… I use to work for David & Albert Maysles who did the documentary of Grey Gardens and was nominated for Academy Awards. I also was lucky enough to meet Edie who is a very nice and eccentric woman. I enjoyed talking with her. Drew is pretty much right on with the accent.

Here is my issue—I saw the play with the FABULOUS Christine Ebersole. And besides the REAL Edie Bouvier–Christine is it for me. But—will i go see this—damn straight. Will Drew's performance be my favorite—that is yet to be seen.

I have to say, I'm intrigued. Isn't the actor who plays Jackie the same woman who played Tom Cruise's wife in "The Firm"? The resemblence is remarkable. I might actually pay $7.50 to see this movie.

if anybody has seen the original documentary they would recognize that drew's accent is DEAD on to the character she is portraying…. its actually haunting how much she looks and sounds like her! I think it's a real shame this isnt being release in theaters, hopefully it gains LOTS of attention from HBO viewers. I think this potentially could be Drew's best work ever!!!

I think there might also be some sort of orgy scene with an author and lead singer of a once popular rock band and several other people she meets at a party. Everybody has to see this. Woohoo!
