      Re: cbolivar – I can only speak for the LA show and her tix were $37 for General admission floor tix. Pretty cheap compared to all the concerts I've been to in the past. Now if you're talking about ebay and stubhub…then yes they were VERY EXPENSIVE…but she (and every other artist out there) have no control over scalpers.

      She was a rich kid, her father was an entrepreneur. Lady GaGa went to a school where the cost to attend is $30,690 A YEAR. You may want to think she got into the public eye the "old school" way, but when you go to a school that costs more than what many Americans make in a year, that's highly doubtful…

      Why would she be in for the money? She already had it all along, unlike MOST celebrities. To me, coming from the Mickey Mouse club or American Idol IS doing it the old school way, building your way up.

      With that said, I do like her, I give credit where credit is due, but I would totally respect someone who built their way up from a Mickey Mouse Club or American Idol more than someone who probably and most likely had influences all along.
