Despite Time Out New York insisting that actress Natasha Richardson is "brain dead" and "will not survive," TMZ is reporting that Richardson is sedated and suffering from brain swelling — but is not brain dead.

I did a google search and there are a few sites reporting she did in fact die. A person also commented confirming that she is gone, as he/she is in the circle of friends and that the body is being flown back to NY. But really who knowssssss!! Death is everywhere and there is no avoiding it. Heartbreaking.

I'm from Montréal, and our local news just reported that she is NOT in Montréal anymore, they moved her to New-York. If she "traveled", that means the chances are fair that she will not die.

First off. People need to calm down (though we all know that will never happen). Why does Perez need to apologize for someone elses mistake? Honestly, you people sit here all day and rip him apart in every single post he makes. What does that make you? This is a celeb gossip site. Do any of you know what gossip is or are you just faking it? Yes, the news of her death should not have been posted, however, it was, and things can't be changed. The right story (as we know it right now) has been posted so deal with it and move forward. For the sake of your own sanity.

Do us all a favor and hire someone to enlighten you when it comes to medical matters… YOU are a total idiot and it shows every time u attempt a post that deals with a medical issue… Brain swelling… she is sedated because she is prolly intubated … prolly on massive doses of steroids and possibly had a craniotomy to relieve the swelling… SHE is VERY Critical… but unless you know the results from her CT scan and other test then it could be a couple things… and since her medical records are protected you will NEVER know exactly what is going on! She was prolly transferred to a higher level care hospital because not all hospitals can take care of these type patients. So stop posting diagnoses when u have no freaking clue what u are talking about!!

I am not even going to bother defending my comments, mostly due to the fact that like everything else said on this website, it will get blown completely out of the universe. We all make mistakes from time to time and last time I checked this was his website, not yours, not mine, not anyone elses. Therefore, with that being said, he has the right to post whatever he deems worthy. Obviously, he got the information from someone who he thought was 'right' and posted it.
