Transformers 3 Is A Go!
Transformers 3 is happening, with or without any of the current talent attached!
No deal has yet to be made with the stars of the flick, Shia LaBeouf or Megan Fox. Even director Michael Bay hasn't signed on yet, and a writer has yet to join.
But, despite all that, it seems one thing has been determined, and that's the movie's release date.
The third installment of the movie is said to be released on July 1, 2011. Just in time for the 4th of July weekend.
The first flick was released on July 3rd, 2007. And although Transformers 2 was set to be released in May, the movie has now been pushed back to June 24th, 2009. Just a week before the holiday weekend.
As of right now, it seems the three-quel will have no competition set for its release in 2011. Yeah, cuz that's a long ass time from now!

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (Part II) is slight competition (comes out on 7/15/11). It's the last Harry Potter and will have a lot of effort put into it so I'm sure that will make tons of money.

In 2011, it will have competition from Terminator 5 and possibly Batman 3. Both which would singularly throw them out of the water.
Word is that STAR TREK is going to make people forget about TRANSFORMERS 2!
