The Jersey Shore will be going au natural this summer!
The New Jersey Board of Cosmetology and Hairstyling is throwing around the idea of banning Brazilian bikini waxes!!!
Why????
Apparently vag and peen wax maintenance has always been illegal in New Jersey, but the Board never enforced the private part waxing law…… until now!
The Board is proposing the new ban after they received complaints from two New Jersey women who were injured while having their hair taken care of down there!
Aestheticians and customers alike are protesting the ban on the Brazilian. "It's a woman's body. If she wants to get it completely waxed then that's up to her, it's her choice to do that, so I don't know why it would be illegal," said one fan of the hairless puss.

Man when I was in beauty school girls were waxing their vadges experimentally and things were going HORRIBLY wrong…i'm talking ripped labia, burned up cooches, scabby twats….I'm all for the landing stip, bare vadge is too pre-pubescent for me. Not enough cosmetologists get the experience needed to wax a full bush, and the area is too sensitive to be messing around with…so while I say no one has a right to say what we do with our bodies, at least make it safe for women who want to wax it!!

I don't think they should be BANNED but strongly monitored by the Health regulations!
The thing is, you don't need to have a licence to wax, as you do with hair. ANYBODY can open a waxing business.
If you are not trained properly on sterilization, you can easily spread genital warts, herpes, all kinds of STD's and skin infections.
A simple double dipping of a wax pot can lead to spreading of bacteria from client to client. NASTY
So ladies (and perhaps men) make sure your getting your waxing done in a reputable salon by a TRAINED professional!

Apparently the Jersey lawmakers have nothing to do if their biggest legal dispute is to ban kitty waxing.
All this is going to do is not allow salons to do them. People can still do them at home, or on each other. And please, don't equate this to abortion. It's not a "woman's right to choose".

As a woman I have often wondered what men prefer on a woman's pubis: hair or bare. Some men call a naked pubis an oyster, they prefer hair down there, especially European men, who are excellent lovers. At nudist beaches, including Cuba, everybody goes without hair. My young neighbour (woman) likes a little Mohawk, apparently her husband goes crazy over it. So to each his/her own preference.
Coming from a Jersey girl herself I'm pretty sure these women were at skanky "salons" which is how they ended up injured.

There's a simple alternative that definitely works because I use, and prefer it to the PAINFUL wax ordeal. Sally Hansen's hair removal, or whomever you prefer. There are tons of products out that come in either cream or spray form. Spray or spread on, and in three-to-eight minutes you can simply wipe it off. Of course, you have to do this every three weeks, perhaps every two if you are one of those people that has hair that grows very quick. It's inexpensive and painless, what more could one ask for?

Im from New Jersey and I have never heard of this being illegal..but come to think of it, I have never seen it on the menu at spas and salons. But Im with you. I have never opted to get a brazilian wax because any type of waxing is excruciating to me..but for it to be illegal is completely ridiculous. Of course there is probably more to the story..

First and formost ladies and gents I would make sure it is a licensed esthetician not a cosmetoligist. There is a huge difference. An estheitician studies the skin and the effects of different types of waxes on it. Most cosmetoligist do learn how to wax brows and lips very briefly in school. If I recall NJ and New York only require an esthetician to have 600 hours to get a license. In Georgia where I am you have to have 1000. Thats alot more time to get your skills and learn all the dangers and it is still illegal here. But every salon offers. it.
Its definately a personal choice ladies. But make sure you get it done at a reputable place and investigate it. Ask questions. See if its clean.

I know my shizz and as long as you're going to a reputable salon and not your local chop shop in the strip mall, you'll be fine! It isn't sanitary to get it all waxed off in the first place, there's a reason why we still have hair down there.

I don't know what the big deal is! I get some good shaving cream & a good razor and shave my hair bald like the eagle! It doesn't hurt or burn because I have been doing it for a while. It feels so much cleaner shaved. I would never put wax near my Cookie! I shave it myself, it's free & my lover has no complaints on the bald kitty. I was born, and currently live in Hudson County, and I love it. From 8-17 I lived in Ocean County and it was a nightmare, boring as fuck! So yeah, we go to use OUR beaches, then come home to the tri-state area, where everything else is at! And trust me, the Jersey shore doesn't have the hottest beaches…Seaside is a nasty piece of shit town, with a dirty, needle-infested beach!
