Nifty New Ways To Watch Movies In Theaters!

The film industry is so desperate for you to please please please part with that 12 bucks (with soda, popcorn, and snacks, that comes out to $25 a head!) that a couple of movie theaters have installed new "enhanced movie theater seat technology."
D-BOX Technologies are testing their new seats in the Mann’s Chinese 6 in Los Angeles and UltraStar Cinemas in Arizona.
According to D-BOX, "Unlike theme park rides, D-BOX offers theatergoers an unparalleled realistic experience where they are immersed in the film, experiencing every jolt, wave, breeze and explosion."
Sounds like a Disney theme park ride.

technology would be great if they found a way to actually make you think you are IN the movie. the entire time you would know that you are watching a 3d experience … if they had virtual reality that was real enough then it'd b worth it… but to pay 25 bucks for food and a ticket to sit in a chair that bumps while a fuckin fan blows hot air on you everytime theres an explosion sounds retarded. if they could actually invest in making it more real to give the illusion that you actually are part of the experience then that'd b sweet. until then, it sounds hurtin,

Yea what would happen during a movie like Friday the 13th part 27 or something. Would blood splatter on you during the murder scenes and would the chair bounce or vibrate during the awful sex scenes?

I rarely go to the movies. For one thing, there's rarely *anything* worth paying thirty bucks to see. For another thing, I like to kick and put my feet up when I watch a film and those ramrod-straight-back theatre seats are hardly comfortable! Not to mention that I frown upon their ban on outside food
I don't care to pay more for overpriced candy and popcorn than I do for the fucking movie tickets. Pft!
