      As I've been following this story as it was developing I started off feel wretched for RiRi. But as time's gone by it really does disappoint me that she hasn't spoken out to her fans. She is a role model to a degree but she is 21 years old and may not have been brought up in a environment that doesn't accept violence. She appears to be a vulnerable young woman that doesn't want to accept that the violence against her was not OK.

      But for these teenagers thinking it's fine what Chris Brown did, it does really show lack of parenting skills.

      And for those people who say Rihanna and girls are dumb for staying in abusive relationships, stop being so damn ignorant, you can't speak for these women until you get inside their minds and understand how vulnerable they really are. Once you get trapped it's almost impossible to get out.

      Anyway, unless Rihanna moves on for the right reasons she will just end up in endless bad relationships with other men. This is only the beginning.

      You're right Perez is it NEVER ok for a man to hit a woman or vise versa. The problem is that many girls see it so often they consider it the norm, OR they feel that staying with the person they are comfortable with is safer, even though they are getting hit and beaten up. It's scarier with the unknown than the known. YOU have the influence Perez to help girls and WOMEN like this out. Is there anyway you can do something to help spread the word?       ok we are in 2009. i dont think its right to hit anyone especially women and children and im not a fighter and i wasnt raised that way. i was raised as in you walk away from a women but i did have one g/f that attacked me when she got mad. i had no choice but to defend myself. If a female wants to fight a guy like she is a boxer and is trying to hurt you then why the hell can't you hit her back? its not fair. btw this has nothing to do with chris and rhianna. we have only heard the police reports and she went back to him so i have an opinion about that but I think you have every right to hit anyone back if they hit you first.

      I just wanted to say……that of course domestic abuse is bad.I know first hand.I was in an abusive relationship about 11 years ago(relationship lasted 7 years).But you know what?The first time should have been the last.After that,I was just as responsible for the abuse as he was.I stuck around for slapping,punching,verbal assaults,kicking in the back stomach&side,choking,and he even dragged me from the passenger side door of a car while he was driving.And I believed him every time he said he was sorry&that it would never happen again.It always happened again.I allowed it to happen again.Then one day I decided that I liked myself a lot more than that.Just saying.
