Happy News For Joy Behar
Here's something we never thought would happen. Joy Behar from The View might be getting married soon!
Yes, the same Behar that has time after time claimed she'd never remarry. Despite dating the same dude for over 26 years!
At 66-years-old (we still can't believe she's that old!), Behar announced to everyone on Barbara Walter's SIRIUS XM Radio show on Tuesday that she and her man, Steve Janowitz, were considering marriage.
Though she isn't getting married for the usual reasons.
Instead, Behar explains, "Somebody that I know lost her partner. They were gay women. And the partner was in the hospital, and she had to pretend that she was her sister in order to really deal with stuff. I don’t want that to happen to us … and I also just feel that I want to."
That's when Walters offered to throw Joy a wedding, saying "I could give you the wedding. How many people do you want?"
To which Behar joked, "I don't know. How many can you afford?"
And after that oh-so-not staged comment, Behar added "What I would like to do on The View is announce it after I do it if you don't mind."
Either way, congrats to Joy and her soon-to-be hubby.
Wonder if she'll be forced to invite Elizabitch Hasselbeck to her wedding?
