We all know it was going to happen, that doesn't make it any less sad.

Jade Goody has passed away, a victim of cancer.

She was 27 years old.

The British reality TV star died in her home early Sunday morning.

She is survived by her two young sons, Bobby and Freddie. Our thoughts go out to them and all her family and friends.

I feel so bad for her kids. People call her a media whore for doing what she did but she did it for her kids; To gather up some money so that her kids would be taken care of when she passed away.       I would be the first to say that I was never a fan of Jade's I disliked her from when she was a non-celeb in the BB house. But saying that she has done what no other doctors and Health warnings have done the amount of people who have gone to have smear tests has increased ten fold. I did watch her television shows following her treatment and I cried with her when she was on her bathroom floor with her mother as she found out her hair has fallen out. R.I.P. Jade. Your Boys will be proud of how you fought this. I may not have been a fan but you have my respect.

      So sad. I lost my mother to cancer when I was 21, and I know how hard it was for me as old as I am, and with the understanding of death. I can't imagine what those poor boys are going through, to wake up and expect their mom to be there and forget that she's no longer. My prayers are with her loved ones.       Re: mhud71 – She was told 3 years ago by her gyno that her tests came back that she needed to the cells on her cervix froze again and she ignored them and that's why she had cancer and by the time she went to the dr it was too late. I have had the same thing and is the same age and I get tested every year. It's so sad that she could have prevented it. It has nothing to do with the US, she doesn't even live in the US.

      I am so shocked by some of the comments here today. I was not a huge fan and I never really disliked her, I was indifferent BUT as a human I was truely sad to hear about her death.

She left two children without a Mom and that will be a loss that those two kids will never completely get over. From what I see, she did everything she could to see that her boys would be ok. If that included selling her story and having a camera crew follow her decline, so be it. She did it so her kids might not have to want for material things- because God knows they are wanting for their Mom right now. My prayers are with this woman.

      Jade paid a high price for calling Shilpa a poppadom, she was publicly crucified for it. While I don't condone what she said to Shilpa if you look at the argument about the Oxo cube it is Shilpa who keeps coming back to Jade provoking the argument to continue.
