Please get on the registry! It saved my life!!!! I'm a 2 time cancer survivor simply b/c a stranger decided to get on the registry and saved my life….I'm almost 3 years out of my stem cell transplant!!! I have since met my donor and he's part of the family now! PLEASE PLEASE save somone's life!
i joined the registry in october and 2 weeks ago, i donated bone marrow to a woman i dont know. it was urgent and i was her only hope for survival. it was impossible to turn down the opportunity to save her life and im so glad i went through with it. i urge everyone to at join the registry.

I would like to point out that Mia Hamm does the same thing on the West Coast, in memory of her brother.
I've done it and is quite simple. You swap your own cheeks, put it in an envelope and hand it in. That's it.
Hi! I am a stem cell donor TWICE. It is the most amazing thing in the world. You get to save a person's life. Besides doctors who else is given that opportunity in their lifetime? Plus you don't have to do eight years of college plus internship, residency etc
The idiot who says PerezHilton keeps 60% of donations is an IDIOT!!! Like other people have said you can't keep 60% of bone marrow/stem cells/blood.

This is a great foundation. Without this foundation my dad would have died from lymphoma. A complete stranger saved my father's life and I owe the world to him. He donated his bone marrow and fought in the army. He got called back and unfortunately died in the war but I know that without him I would not have my dad beside me every single day. He can now walk me down the aisle on my wedding day.
i have donated bone marrow (through a different organization here in Canada) and the result was saving a grandfather from California. it is worth it for the small amount of pain. i would do it again in a heartbeat

Maybe you should contact them before you make judgements. This is a LIFE SAVING organization and a very positive one at that. Over 1500 lives saved .. by you spreading negativity is not worthwhile to this cause or this page so you should either have something positive to say or go to another cause.
