Hey everyone,
First off, I want to say thank you to everyone who has been coming out to the shows since my last post. The vibe at these shows has been amazing.Secondly, I have to address some behavior that has become disturbing. We pride ourselves on being accessible to you as fans, but in contrast, we do enjoy what little privacy we can muster. To that end, the efforts by some fans to find our hotel rooms, call our hotel rooms, attach things to our bus, etc., is something I have to condemn. This relationship only works when it remains healthy for both parties, and should this behavior continue, the only thing we can do is take more preventative measures to maintain our privacy, which in turn makes us less accessible to you.
I hope this doesn't come off as harsh. I merely want to nip this in the bud so we can continue to have a great experience with all of you at the shows we have coming up. Take care and see you at the next show.

Ok, I usually wouldn't comment on something like this because you're always going to have haters, but YOU, Perez, really? I expected more from you being a fan of your blog and all. None of the people hating on David have any idea what has been going on and have no right to hate on him. First of all, people have been going to EVERY SHOW and STALKING him, like dangerously stalking him, they're not just innocently following him. He had every right to write that blog and it's a good thing he did.
And let's see…15 minutes of fame? I don't think so. He's been doing his tour since February and EVERY show has SOLD OUT, not a seat left. And his album? It went platinum. Yeah, he's a loser, whatever.

Maybe I'm confused or mistaken, but when people say his tour has sold out..what tour are they talking about? Because last time I checked he was doing small shows at colleges on the east coast. He was at my university last night, and the tickets were free. And even with the free tickets the place wasn't sold out. So I'm not sure what sold out tour everyone is referring to, but he is doing some shows (or all) for free to college kids, and he still isn't getting a ton of support.
However, I did hear his concert last night was good and he seemed like a semi-decent human being. Take that for what you want.

David Cook loves his fans. He has put his career and fans ahead of everything else. However, he has his safety–as well as that of his bandmates–to consider. He is just telling his fans to take it easy so he won't have to up his security and become less accessible. He doesn't want that to happen, even though he could easily say the word and make it so. And I don't get all this talk of him being untalented or a loser. People, the man can sing. You may not like his style of music, but many of us do, and we'll be buying his albums and going to his concerts for years to come. Trying to blow out someone else's flame won't make yours burn any brighter!
While I don't condone crazy FANatics (get a life people) I do think it's incredibly funny when celebpretties think they can control how their fame pans out. Fame means nothing is private sillies - we control you, hehe.
