NASA Space Station Room To Be Named After Stephen Colbert?

colbert-space-station.jpg

And the new room at NASA's international space station shall be dubbed…Colbert?

Was NASA not aware of the influence of comedian Stephen Colbert?

When the space agency asked the public to write-in suggestions for the new room, Colbert urged Colbert Report audiences to nominate his name.

"Colbert" beat NASA's pick of "Serenity" with 230,539 votes.

NASA, however, ultimately reserves the right to veto the public. NASA will decide in April and spokesman John Yembrick says they will give top vote-getters "the most consideration."

We want Colbert!

There is no way NASA is naming it Colbert. Serenity ftw!

Instead of "Colbert" I'd prefer "Coulter."
