Gordo The Skateboarding Parrot Has Been Birdnapped!

Gordo, the 30-year-old skateboarding parrot has been snatched from his home in Baldwin Park, California!
Not Gordo!!!!!!!!!
Heartbroken owner Fred Mireles said that on Wednesday his mother heard a commotion and he looked to see someone running off with Gordo. Without any kids of his own, Gordo was like Mireles' child.
Baldwin Park police Sgt. Darryl Kosaka said that the chances of recovering Gordo don't look good, as stolen pets often go to new, unknowing families.
But, Mireles said that the birdnapper is "up against a can of worms" because Gordo has a habit of biting strangers!
Save Gordo! Or someone is gonna end up with a severed finger!

This makes me so sad =(. As a lover of all animals, but especially birds (I have had a bird all my life) this truly tugs at my heartstrings. I know how devastating it must be for the owner. I'm praying we get Gordo back safe!!

OMG…NOOOOOoooooo PLEASE…most birds will start to panic when they don't see or hear their regular owners, so please….if anyone in the surrounding areas begin to hear a bird "crying" or yelling/screaming…please have a heart to call your local authorities…we maybe this birdie's only chance!!!

This makes me really sad because I have a parrot of my own and I know that they seriously bond with their family. Gordo may even die from missing his owner not to mention that these thieves probably don't realize they need more care than eating seeds. Parrots are very intelligent and I can assure you that Gordo is scared and depressed and I hope the person that took him drops him off somewhere and just lets him come back home.

This is so messed up. Give the damn parrot back to the poor man. I have some pet birds and a couple of pet parrots during the years and would be absolutely devastated if this happened.
